EXPECTED LIFETIME OF POWER LED MODULES (White) The expected lifetime of light sources is defined by the failure of the light source (mortality) and lumen maintenance (50.000 hours approx.). Mortality Mortality indicates the probability of failure within a certain period of operation. The mortality of LED modules is very low compared with conventional light sources. Under the nominal conditions specified in the data sheet the failure rate for LED modules is <0.1% per 1000 hours of operation. Lumen maintenance If lumen maintenance is used to define the lifetime of an LED module, the figures relate to the number of hours of operation after which the luminous flux of the LED module is 80% (T80), 70 0 Lumen maintenance is determined mainly by the temperature at the "tc point" (reference point) on the LED module measured under normal conditions of use. The following diagrams enable the lumen maintenance and associated operating time to be determined for different tc temperatures. Intermediate values can be found with sufficient accuracy by interpolating between the reference curves.

ECOLED INFO FOR LED MODULES CHAINS Introduction: This product range consists of modules including diodes of different colours. They are pre-wired to follow each other (in parallel) and can be assembled in different ways. Suggested for channel letters with front lighting, light boxes backlighting and other lighting applications. Advantages: * Super bright diodes. * No electrical hazard. * 5-12-24 VDC working voltage. * Indoor or outdoor use. * Energy saving * Minimum technical assistance required (easy installation). * Long Lifespan: 50.000 hours each color at room temperature 20 °. * Quick and easy installation with screws, glue, double-sided adhesive (for positioning). * Power supply with indoor or outdoor (water resistant) power supplies.
0 Warning: diodes are very sensitive to temperatures over 40 ° and voltage must be constant. We recommend you to carefully check the maximum temperature and voltage. The LEDs turn electrical energy into light energy and heat, for this reason the LEDs have to be installed on surfaces capable of dissipating very quickly the heat generated. The use of additional ventilation systems is also strongly recommended. Modules should not be directly exposed to athmospheric agents because UV rays could damage the Modules and strips can't withstand a continuous cycle of more than 10/12 hours daily Pay attention to glues, solvents and electrostatics discharges as they may deteriorate irreparably LEDs. Calculation of required power supply (in Watts): = Number of modules multiplied by the module output in Watts X 1,2 A chain of modules cannot exceed 20 modules connected in sequence. It is possible to link as many chains as possible. The only limit is the capacity of power supply. LED SPOT
Alluminium alloy LED lamps have been designed in particular to save energy and to replace the traditional halogen lamps (GU10), dichroic lamps (MR16), and filament lamps (Edison E27). They can be easily used with any base. The replacement is done as for a normal light bulb, retrofit. The aluminium alloy provides good conductivity and a life-span of about 20.000 hours, allowing energy savings up to 80% with very little maintenance. Code
