Electrical steam humidifier
The avant-garde solution! heaterSteam is the electrical humidifier that produces sterile steam from water of any quality: demineralised or softened or mains/tap water. The versatility of heaterSteam allows it to be used in all applications, ducted or direct, for personal comfort or the correct humidification of industrial processes wherever max. steam purity and long-term, maintenance free operation are required. Characteristics: • steam production from 2kg/h to 90kg/h, according to the model; • ON/OFF or modulating versions with control and LED indications; • serial output RS485 (modulating version); • water preheating system (modulating version); • IR receiver (optional); • specially-shaped heating elements immersed in aluminium plates; • special removable and replaceable coating inside the cylinder (optional).
Gas powered steam humidifier

Carel’s years of experience in the humidification and air-conditioning control sectors, together with the engineering experience of Ecoflam in the heating sector, has led to the development of gaSteam, the gas humidifier. gaSteam represents the solution for steam humidification using gas as the form of energy. It has been designed to satisfy the need to reduce operating costs while ensuring high performance. The savings offered by gaSteam compared to an electrical steam humidifier is immediately evident in the analysis of the operating costs. Microprocessor control allows modulation from between 25 and 100% of the programmed steam production (40kg/h). The special structure of the heat exchanger guarantees optimum heat exchange efficiency.

The humiSteam series is the most evolved and flexible solution for all humidification needs, whatever the application and the environment being operated in, from museums to clean rooms, from civil to industrial applications. The characteristics of the humiSteam series are as follows: • steam production from 1kg/h to 126kg/h, according to the model; • ON/OFF or modulating versions with control and LED indications; • new electrodes which improve unit efficiency; • new concept cylinders with “full body” filter to reduce maintenance operation; • wide range of steam distributors: made from AISI304 stainless steel or aluminium or plastic material; • dual power supply of the fan (230/400Vac); • graphic display controller for up to 4 units remotable within a max. distance of 1km (optional); • connection to supervisory and telemaintenance systems; • IR remote control.

Simple & versatile homeSteam is the compact Carel steam humidifier, ideal for the humidification of environments measuring up to 500m2. The new humidifier, with steam production of 1.5 and 3.2kg/h, combines advanced Carel technology with ease of operation. It ensures reliability and versatility, simple installation and adaptability to different conditions. Practical and reliable The practical features of homeSteam are clear from the extreme simplicity of installation and the fully automatic operation. Maintenance is no longer a problem: an alarm signals when it is necessary to replace or clean the steam cylinder. Cylinder replacement and cleaning are extremely simple operations; the latter, in fact, simply involves cleaning with a water/acetic acid solution. New microprocessor-based control The simple, front ON/OFF LED control system displays the on/off status of the humidifier, the steam production, the alarm status and required intervention. The versatility of homeSteam derives from the highly evolved algorithm, which automatically adapts the operation of the humidifier to the different characteristics of the supply water. This allows both energy savings and optimisation of the cylinder life.
With an electrical power consumption of just 4 Watts per litre/hour of atomised water, Carel humiFog represents the most economical solution for humidification systems. The new atomising humidifier utilizes the energy of high-pressure water forced through unique atomising nozzles, to produce a fine, uniform fog particles, without any wear on the parts. The humiFog system, unlike the classic air/water atomising systems, does not require the use of a compressor or the installation of an airline. The system does not atomise recycled water and thus does not induce the proliferation and development of bacteria. As a result, humiFog has almost limitless applications in environments or air handling systems, both in the air-conditioning and industrial sectors, as well as for product storage and seasoning.
Air-water atomised water humidifiers
High humidification capacity The mc Carel adiabatic humidification system was planned for the humidification of large industrial rooms and of considerable air volumes in air handling units. It utilises compressed air and network or demineralised water to produce highly atomised water, which changes to vapour by absorbing the necessary energy directly from the environment. Carel humidifiers (from 60l/h to 230l/h) are therefore particularly profitable both in energy terms (only 70 watts to atomise 1 litre/hour of water) and practical, handy to manage. Actually, the electronic or microprocessor control permits a completely automatic functioning of the installation. Furthermore, the atomisation heads, made of AISI 316 stainless steel, have an exclusive automatic cleaning system that ensures hygiene and reliability. The mc humidifiers, as well as all the Carel products, can be connected to centralised systems of supervision and telemaintenance.
Centrifugal humidifier
The practical and flexible solution! Simplicity of installation and maintenance, versatility and economy characterise HumiDisk, the Carel adiabatic humidification system. HumiDisk, due to a centrifugal effect caused by a spinning disk, atomises the water into a drop-free fine mist, which can be easily absorbed by the air. HumiDisk is suitable from the smaller cold-storage rooms to the larger industrial environments (max prod. 5l/h). In particular, it is suitable for applications such as: • cold rooms and storage facilities for products, such as fruits and vegetables, where the humidity reduction involves weight loss and the product spoilage; • printing facilities, where the correct level of humidity must be maintained to avoid variation in paper size and consequent misprints; • textile industries, where humidity maintenance is an important factor according to the production process and the textile material being processed, and where it is simultaneously necessary to dissipate the heat produced the looms.
