CAS2545 Rotary Screw Compressor
The IMT CAS2545 air compressor is a 45-cfm hydraulically driven rotary screw compressor. The unit is a single-stage, pressurelubricated compressor designed for mobile or industrial applications. The CAS2545 model provides high-pressure air for use in air tools, tire service, and other mobile or stationary compressed air needs. The compressor includes an oil-flooded, rotary screw-type air end, compressor inlet system, capacity control system, lubricating oil system, integrated compressor oil cooler, integrated air aftercooler, and discharge system. The CAS2545 unit also has instrumentation that includes a temperature gauge, hour meter, high-temperature warning indicator, oil level sight glass, and an air restrictor indicator.

Air Aftercooler The CAS2545 model has an integrated air aftercooler to maintain an air temperature that is approximately 10 degrees above ambient at the end of the air hose. Auxiliary Hydraulic Oil Cooler The compressor does not have an integrated hydraulic oil cooler. It is recommended that all installations of this compressor include an auxiliary hydraulic oil cooler to reduce the heat in the main hydraulic system. Hydraulic Oil Reservoir The compressor requires a reservoir that is a minimum of 30 gallons. If the hydraulic system has additional hydraulically operated equipment on the circuit, a larger cooler may be needed. Electrical System The electrical system consists of a central power relay module with a main body harness interface. The module contains LED lights for compressor operation troubleshooting. Compressor Oil Cooler The CAS2545 unit has an integrated oil cooler for the compressor oil. This cooler is not part of the main operating hydraulic circuit.
