MODIFICATION R.A.C.E. is a special audio modification made to TCI™ dual communications-based push-to-talk (PTT) assemblies, which solves the problem of audio from one radio coming out of only a single ear cup when just that single radio is receiving. Many operators utilizing dual communications may only use one radio system 85-90% of the time. Audio clarity and intelligibility is always better when received in both ears. With R.A.C.E. when one radio is receiving audio, the sound will be heard in both ear cups, regardless of which radio is receiving.
