WARNING:
Infants have died in toddler bed from entrapment and strangulation. Failure to follow these warnings and the assembly instructions could result in serious injury or death from entrapment or strangulation. Read all instructions before assembling Toddler Daybed. KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE NEVER use bed with children under 15 months. NEVER place bed near windows where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle child. DO NOT use a water mattress with this Toddler bed. NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a Toddler bed or attach strings to toys. If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children's products. If included, always use guardrail(s).
CAUTION: ANY MATTRESS USED IN THIS TODDLER BED MUST BE AT LEAST 27 ¼" (69 CENTIMETERS) BY 51 5/8" (131 CENTIMETERS) WITH A THICKNESS NOT EXCEEDING 6" (15 CENTIMETERS) BUT AT LEAST 4” (10 CENTIMETERS). THIS BED IS FOR CHILDREN OVER 15 MONTHS OF AGE WEIGHING NO MORE THAN 50 POUNDS (22.7KG). 09-006

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Please carefully read all instructions and warnings before assembling the toddler bed. Use only vendor supplied hardware to assemble. Using unauthorized hardware could jeopardize the structural integrity of the item. For your safety and ease, assembly by two or more adults is recommended. Keep instructions for future use.

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Hex Allen Wrench with Ball tip -1pc (Included)
Phillips Screwdriver (not included)
PRE-ASSEMBLY: Remove all parts and hardware from the box and lay out on a clear carpeted or scratch-free work surface, as this will avoid damaging parts during assembly. The shipping box provides an ideal work surface. Do not dispose of any packaging or contents of the shipping carton until assembly is completed to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware. Use the parts and hardware lists above to identify and separate each of the pieces included. The illustrations provided allow for easier assembly when used in conjunction with the assembly instructions. The use of power tools for assembly is not recommended. Power tools can damage hardware or split wood.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove the assembly instructions from the envelope attached and review. Keep them handy for referring to the part and hardware descriptions. 2. To convert the Crib into a Toddler Bed / Daybed, stand your Crib on a smooth floor as shown and remove the Front Gate from the Crib. Please refer to the gate installation instruction (step 3 of the Crib Assembly Instructions) and follow them in reverse order. (see Fig 1) Fig (1)

3. Assemble the Long rail - Left and Right (I) to the Left Side Gate and Right Side Gate with 4 bolts (N), using the Hex Allen Wrench.(see Fig 2). Fig (2)
4. Assemble the Guard rail (K) into Conversion Rail (J) by 2Toddler bed bracket (P) with 4 Bolts (O) and 4 Cap nuts (S), using the Hex Allen Wrench (see Fig 3). Fig (3)
5. Assemble the Guard rail and Conversion rail into the Long rail-Left and Right (I) with Bolts (L) and Barrel nut (T), using Hex Allen Wrench. Adjust the Barrel nut (T) to fit with the Bolt (L) on the hole of the conversion rail once assembled (see Fig 4).

6. Attach Bolt (M) into the Long rail (I) using Hex Allen Wrench. See (Fig 5). This step our crib has been converted to a Toddler Bed Fig (5)
NOTE: The guardrail can be assembled with opening on either side. 7. The guardrail can be removed for older Toddlers. At this step our crib has been converted to a Toddler Daybed.

CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS Dust often using a clean, soft, dry lint-free cloth. Blot spills immediately, and wipe with a clean, damp, cloth. We do not recommend the use of chemical cleansers, abrasives, or furniture polish on our lacquered finish. If the crib is to be stored, store in cool dry place and carefully package all original hardware to protect from loss or damage. Check fasteners periodically for tightness. DO NOT over tighten. This may cause distortion or breakage. Parents should ensure a safe environment for the child by checking regularly, before placing the child in the product, that every component is properly and securely in place. Store both Crib and Conversion Kit Assembly Instructions in the envelope attached to the Mattress Base for future reference.
