Conduction Cooled Mezzanine storage Description
The 9290 ccXMCStor is a conduction cooled mezzanine storage solution designed for high speed data access and system boot operations. It offers CFast™ drive technology for serial communication to the host over PCIe. The board contains a 3 Gb/sec SATA II controller with a 2.5 Gb/sec PCIe Gen 1 interface that can provide high data transfer rates. The 9290 is built to withstand harsh environments requiring high shock, vibration and extended temperature tolerance.
Features • Serial ATA CFast drives – the size advantage of CompactFlash with serial data rates • CFast capacities to 64GB or higher currently available capacities • Data transfer rates up to 122MB/sec write and 124MB/sec read. All data rates are media and operating system dependent. • Silicon Image 3132 PCIe to SATA II controller • Driver support for Linux, VxWorks and Windows operating systems. • Available in extended temperature, shock and vibration versions

Compatibility The 9290 is directly compatible with conduction cooled VITA and PICMG SBCs, and any carrier cards with XMC sites.
General The 9290 is a single width conduction cooled XMC module (74mm x 149mm) compatible with the VITA 42.3 mezzanine module standard. Each configuration has an onboard Silicon Image PCIe x 1 to dual port SATA II controller.

Input / Output When attached to a conduction cooled host Single Board Computer (SBC), the 9290 provides access to one CFast SATA storage drive from the host PCIe bus via the P15 XMC connector.
