Please install and operate this product according to the following instructions. Failure to do so may render your warranty void.

Wall Mount You have the option of mounting the transmitter using double-sided tape or by using screws. 1. To mount with screws, open the Transmitter with screw driver and separate the front cover from back covers, as described in the battery installation section. Penetrate the two standby holes at the back cover with two screws. Then fix the screws on the wall at suitable height. Mounting on UPVC or metal doorframe surfaces will reduce the transmitting range. (See picture 1 below) To install using screws you will require a drill and cross-headed screwdriver. IMPORTANT: Before you drill any hole in the wall, please make sure there are not cables or pipes that you may accidentally damage. 2. To stick the Transmitter with the double-sided adhesive tape. (See picture 2 below)

1. Before installation and operation, you will need a drill, a cross-headed screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, fixing screws and wall plugs. All of these are not supplied with this kit. 2. Avoid the postioning Transmitter on Metal Frames. 3. Avoid positioning the reciever above heat sources such as radiators, or in damp areas such as a kitchen or bathroom.

Receiver Unit Plug the Receiver into any regular household socket using AC120V power.
HOW TO USE THE DOOR CHIME KIT By pressing the button on the Transmitter a wireless signal will be sent to the Receiver and the Receiver will sound. The operating range is 100m ( in the open air ) and you can use the Receiver virtually anywhere at home (only indoor use). However, the transmission range will be reduced if the signal is transmitted through a number of walls or ceilings and Metal or UPVC doorframes can also reduce the operating range.

Battery Installation Transmitter Unit Transmitter uses a 3V CR2032 battery (included). Open the Transmitter by inserting the end of the flat head screwdriver into the notch at the bottom of the button and twisting the screwdriver and place the battery. Please note the correct battery polarity. Please follow this procedure when replacing the batteries.
Door Chime Operation Press the push button on the Transmitter unit once, it sends a wireless signal to the Receiver which will sound. The sound will stop as soon as the melody ends. For repeat sound, press the button again. Holding the button in will NOT repeat the sound.

There is a button located at the left side of each of the Receivers. When the receiver is plugged in you can push this button to change to a different melody. The new melody will play when the button is pushed. There are 36 melodies to select from.

Nameplate There is a nameplate position on the Transmitter. A decorative plate is situated below the button on the front of the transmitter. By removing the decorative plate you will reveal a surface designed for affixing a label with a name or unit number. (Label is not included.)
Important 1. Receiver is designed for indoor use only. 2. Do not mount the Transmitter onto any metal surface or UPVC doorframes, as this will reduce the operation range. 3. Do not expose either unit directly to rain or immerse in water. 4. Do not mount either unit close to a fireplace or expose to high temperature. 5. If not using the chime for long periods, unplug the Receiver from the socket and remove the battery from Transmitter to prevent leakage. 6. Dispose of old battery in accordance with the relevant legislation.
User Hints If the Receiver does not sound, please check the following: 1. Check whether the Receiver plug is well inserted into the socket. 2. Check that the battery is in flat and facing the right way up. 3. Try moving the Receiver to a different plug. Shifting the Receiver a few feet away could avoid unseen interference.

What is Pre-set Code? There is a transmitting code between Transmitter and the Receiver. During production, manufacturer has fixed the code and it can not be changed by any user out of the factory. NOTE: This means the Transmitter can only work with the Receiver in the same kit.
