E series CelestixEdge VE Series 1 E series Quick Start Guide Details The QSG provides a quick reference for setting up the CelestixEdge solution. See the Installation Guide for detailed instructions. A license must be purchased to activate the product before the end of the 30-day trial period. Assumptions Skills and Knowledge • Networking technology • Windows Server® management • Microsoft Active Directory® • Microsoft Unified Remote Access • Network Policy Server* • Work Folders* • Remote Desktop Web Access* *As required for deployment. Network Settings • Active Directory is used for the domain controller. • Static IP addresses are reserved for network adapters as needed. Installation 3 Features Log in to the server with an adminstrator account. Install necessary features for the deployment. Run the installer file as an adminstrator. Some features include wizards for configuration: Use those to simplify setup. Follow the wizard to complete the application install. Use RDP links for features that require additional configuration. 2 Setup Log in to the administration web UI. https://ServerName| LAN IP address:8098 administrator (local administrator account password) Run the setup wizard. ON 4! Disater Remediation To preserve the intial system state, take a snapshot using the hypervisor. Create a backup of initial configuration. 5 Software Updates Check Celestix Software Updates.
