Central Door Locking p/n 900.705 Fitting Instructions Actuators and Linkages •Select a mounting location inside the door that will allow the window to roll up and down without interruption and a position that will not interfere with any other moving parts inside the door. •The actuator should be mounted on a flat surface, or the included bracket may be used. •Once a stable location is selected, mount the actuator using the two possible methods, as shown in the diagrams. (Direct to door frame mounting method as Fig.2 or mounting bracket method, Fig 3). •Place a connecting rod through the hole in the top of actuator, as Fig 4. •Connect the actuator connecting rod to the vehicle’s door lock linkage rod using the rod clamp and screws provided. In some cases, it will be necessary to bend the actuator rod •If bending the actuator connecting rod, to reach the vehicle’s door lock linkage rod, refer to Fig 5 - 6. •Make sure the actuator pushes and pulls the vehicle door lock rod as straight as possible and without limiting the actuator full travel to prevent damage to the actuator and to assure smooth operation. Important: The actuator rod must run parallel to the vehicle’s lock rod as much as possible. •Secure by inserting the 4x7mm cross head screws into the threaded holes of the clamp and tighten firmly. •The clamps to the vehicle’s door lock linkage rod must be fasten as tight as possible to prevent slipping when the actuators are activated. •Manually move the existing door lock button from the locked to the unlocked position and check the entire door lock mechanism must be free from any kinks or bends which would prevent free movement. • Tighten any loose screws, nuts and bolts. •Repeat procedures for the remaining door. •It’s recommended to thoroughly clean the entire locking mechanism (not including the actuators) and spray it with silicon to ensure free movement. Note: To eliminate this function disconnect the Grey wire to the brake pedal. Connect Yellow wire to Accessories power + 12V FUNCTION TEST •Open drivers side window. •Close all doors, except the driver side door and check all doors are in the unlocked position. •Close driver side door and lock it using the key. All doors must lock automatically at the same time. •Now, unlock the driver side door, using the key and check that all doors unlock at the same time. •Push the driver side door button, down and check that all the other door buttons go down. •Switch Accessories power “On”, with the Grey wire connected to the brakes, the doors will lock. •Switch Accessories power “Off” and all doors will unlock.
