CH 327 Classroom Technology Directions LCD Projector Turn the LCD projector on and off with the Hitachi remote control by pressing the red button. To change the LCD projector input, press the video button on the remote control. Do not press other input buttons on remote control. FYI, it will take several minutes for the projector to warm up, and by default the host PC will display on projection screen. Projection Screen The switch to control the projection screen is to your right on the wall. Host Computer Press 2 on the Aten Video Switch situated on right side of CPU to get Host Computer screen projected on the projection screen. The host computer will display on projection screen after you have turned the LCD projector on. A long range wireless keyboard and mouse is on the cabinet drawer for you to use with the host computer. Please use your BlazerID & password to login. Laptop Computer Press 1 on the Aten Video Switch to get laptop screen projected on the projection screen. Use the Black VGA cable to connect to your laptop computer. Use the Blue end of the audio cable to send the audio output from your laptop to the projector. Aten Video Switch (On the right side of the Host Computer) Press 1 for Laptop Computer Press 2 for Host Computer Wireless Microphone: The wireless microphone pack is located in a pouch in the bottom drawer of the podium. The receiver for the microphone’s signal is located in the podium rack above the amplifier (has an antenna sticking out of it). Both the wireless microphone pack and the receiver must be turned on for the microphone to work. The power button for the receiver is located on the front right side of the unit. When to wireless microphone pack is on, there will be a green light. To mute audio, hit the power button once – there will be a red light; hit the button again to return to audio. To turn the wireless pack off, hold down the power button. Please remember to turn the microphone pack off to prevent running down the batteries. Please turn off the LCD projector after your class is completed and return keyboard, mouse, and remote control to cabinet drawer. Please leave host computer on at all times, and do not unplug any cables connected to the host computer.
