Can be learnt by many learning remotes. Also has contact closure and RS232 so can be operated by switches, Crestron, AMX or Lutron systems Installation framework to simplify integration. Screen signal cables exit here. Modular installation system for easy install. WARNING IMPORTANT It is the responsibility of the installer to warn all potential end users of the dangers of interfering with mechanisms during operation Mechanisms which lift or move weights need to be checked on a yearly basis for any damage which may result in an accident www.futureautomation.co.uk tel: +44 (0) 1438 833 577 Custom made screen surround is supplied. fax: +44 (0) 1438 833 565 CHH8 - Ceiling Hinge Heavy Mechanism Fitting Notes The Future Automation Ceiling Hinge has some great features to make installation as simple and quick as possible. ISSUE 001 SHEET 2 of 5 Technical Sheet Stage 1 Stage 2 The installation frame is initially fixed in place. Suspend from studding or fix corner plates direct to timber beams. The mechanism gearboxes and two cross braces can be fixed into position. Fine height adjustment is located in each corner. Prior to installation the plasterboard/gyproc can be in place as all mechanism parts will fit through the opening. (Or the ceiling can be installed at a later stage.) These side rails can be discarded if the corner plates are to be fixed to timber beams Height adjust bolts Hanging brackets Gearbox Cross brace Finished plasterboard/gyproc ceiling Corner plates Stage 3 Cross brace Signal cables can be run before the top panels and edge panels are fixed in place. All screen signal and power cables enter here Stage 4 Finally add main frame, screen panel, screen and screen surround.
