CHURCHILL WILD - PACKING LIST REQUIRED FOR ALL CHURCHILL WILD SAFARIS: JUL AUG Binoculars Water bottle Day pack for hiking Indoor shoes or slippers Shampoo/conditioner Sunscreen/lip balm Ziploc bags for camera gear Balaclava Ski goggles Hand/foot warmers Sleepwear Heavy winter gloves/mittens Insulated winter boots Heavy fleece Warm/thermal hiking socks Ski pants Long underwear Warm parka Sunglasses Warm/thermal knit or fleece hat Warm sweater or fleece Warm spring/fall jacket Light warm gloves Comfortable long pants Insect repellant (30% DEET minimum) Light jacket for bugs Long sleeved and short sleeved shirts Sun hat with brim Waterproof rain gear (pants and jacket) Waterproof hiking boots Shorts (or zip off pants) FOR BIRDS, BEARS & BELUGAS OCEAN EXCURSIONS: Underwater camera RECOMMENDED SEP OCT NOV Airline regulations limit baggage to 1 checked bag not to exceed 50 lbs, and 2 carry-on bags not to exceed 20 lbs total. Luggage must consist of a soft sided duffel style bag where the total meansurement = width + height + length is less than 62 inches. Items listed are based on average weather conditions, however temperatures can be highly variable in the subarctic. It is recommended that you use layering when considering clothing options, and pack according to your tolerance for cold.
