Cinema Server FR-V1000 Commercial & Residential Media Server Fusion’s Cinema Server is the professional’s choice for large video & audio projects... Fusion’s award winning flagship Cinema Server can store literally thousands of movies, tens of thousands of songs and countless photographs. Cinema Servers have been installed throughout the world in everything from $30,000 per night luxury hotel suites to mega yachts to some of the most prestigious private estates supporting vast movie, music and photo collections. When a job requires the best in media storage and distribution Fusion’s Cinema Server delivers. The Cinema Series now features optional Blu-Ray disc support. The Cinema Server system: Each Cinema System consists of one server and at least one player. Multiple players may be added to increase the number of independent video streams up to 25 independent zones from one Cinema Server. Each individual server can be configured to store up to 9TB of RAID storage or 1375+ movies, additional storage can be added via “Storage Vaults” to create very large archives for vast collections of 50TB or more. The IP-based server and players connect via standard cat-5e cabling as the system runs on open standard Ethernet using commercial quality routers and switches. In addition to supporting up to 25 simultaneous zone players the Cinema Server has 5 additional independent audio outputs for use with audio distribution systems. Full IP-based control protocol FR-V1000 & FR-VCP2 1080p Cinema Player No separate decryption software required: Like all Fusion Media Servers, no decryption software is required to load DVD movies; each player on the network includes a CSS licensed decoder. The system simply makes a bit-for-bit copy of the DVD directly onto the server retaining the complete encryption. Movies are only decrypted in real time upon playback to ensure that the Fusion system is closed and that files cannot be shared outside of the archive. Not your typical database: Two-way Crestron driver shown Many of today’s so called media servers rely on a common general movie database for identifying and cataloging DVDs. These services while adequate for some applications, are re found lacking ffor the individual wanting to properly archive a large or unique collection. Fusion begins where these services leave off. Having observed how too many movies and television series were not being properly cataloged on other systems, Fusion built its own database service hosted on our independent server. We have full time staff cataloging thousands upon thousands of titles to provide one of the richest and deepest databases in the industry. Open IP-Base Technology: Winner of Best Media Server Two Years in a Row Fusion utilizes normal IP protocols that allow the use of standard cat-5e wiring, routers and switches, this also allows the system to communicate with our systems on the network for tasks like managing the server or players or importing music or home movies from other computers in the home. As well as adding additional features through updates in the future.
