Installation sheet 1700 MXP Content of the box: • • • • • The 1700 MXP unit Designers lens cap Remote control Installation sheet Country specific power cable • Accessories box: • 1 VGA - DVI cable (w/ audio) • 1 LAN/Ethernet cable • Power supply • Batteries for the remote control Headset recommendations Tilt the display manually to get a better view angle. Tilt the camera manually to make it point at you. Standard PC headsets with 3.5 mm jacks are compatible with the 1700 MXP. Having a headset with microphone is optional. The lens cap (privacy cover) is held in place by a magnet. Turn the ring to focus the camera. To see yourself, press the Selfview key on the remote control. See the user documentation for more information about using a headset with 1700 MXP and for technical headset recommendation. All rights reserved. Power Installation sheet Getting started The 1700 MXP turns on automatically when you power up the system. Use the remote control to navigate in the menu. Installation wizard The Installation Wizard starts automatically when the video system is installed at the first time and guides you through the basic configuration of the system in the following steps: • Welcome page • Select Language • Enter System Name • Enter Software Option Keys • Enter IP Settings • Obtain IP Address Automatically • Static IP Address (address, subnet, gateway) • Enter SIP Settings • Enter External Management settings • On: Enter information for your TMS server (address, path) • Off: Select from the list: • Gatekeeper and enter the gatekeeper settings • Call Manager and enter the call manager settings • Direct • Finish the wizard. The system will automatically restart the system. The Installation Wizard can be run any time from the Control Panel menu.
