9. Absent/Makeup Work Make-‐up work will be given only for excused absences (you must show me a pass explaining your absence when you return). Students who have an unexcused absence may not make up graded work. If you are absent, the day you return, check our class website calendar to see what you missed. This will tell you what we did in class and what assignments are due. It is YOUR responsibility to see me/check Canvas for missed work. 10. Pagers/IPods/Headphones School-‐wide policy does not permit cell phoned, pagers or headphones (iPods) during class hours. Phones/Pagers may not be visible. They will be taken away if teacher sees it! You will not be allowed to go to your locker to retrieve any missing materials. 14. Finishing Early All students are required to obtain a book for SSR-‐ Sustained Silent Reading. If you finish classwork early, please take out your SSR book and read quietly or complete other classwork. Students are not allowed to sit and do nothing during class. You must be working until the end of class time. 15. Visitors or Substitutes Teachers to the classroom Normal class procedures are enforced. MAJOR point deductions will occur for inappropriate behavior. (Teacher discretion)
