If your system has HEAT, put the RELAX-BOTH-HEAT switch in the relax position. 3. Plug the cord from the A.C. ADAPTER or TRANSFORMER into the remaining receptacle in the back of Spa air switch box (marked CHAIR). 4. Sit in your massage chair and start to familiarize yourself with the System operation. 5. Place the Relaxor switch in the ON position. Slide the INTENSITY knob all the way to the (-) low. Turn on the POWER switch. You can now manually position the massage action to any three-body locations. Each time you press the SELECT button you will move the massage action one position up, or down, as indicated by the green lights on the COMMAND WAND. Now, gradually slide the intensity knob toward (+) high to determine the best intensity for you. Reset INTENSITY in following steps. 6. Set Relaxor switch to wave. Slowly move the SPEED knob up and down to fine the save actions you like best. The green lights on the COMMAND WAND will flash in sequential order from top to bottom, then back up to top continuously repeating this cycle. The lights show the activation of the corresponding pulsing transducers and you will feel a gentle massaging action at the positions shown by the lights 7. If your system has HEAT, move the RELAXBOTH-HEAT switch to HEAT, and after a short warm-up time, enjoy comforting warmth in the lower back (lumbar)area. Now move the switch to BOTH and indulge in the ultimate combination of massage and heat. You have now completed all of the operational choices provided on the COMMAND WAND. Select any combination of the above-described modes, intensities and heat. The Massage System will automatically shut down after approximately 15 minutes of operation. To restart, simply move the POWER switch to OFF then back to ON. Now close your eyes and enjoy your Clean Spa Massage Chair Note: it is normal for the COMMAND WAND to become warm during use. If your Clean Spa system does not operate properly, or you need assistance for any reason, call Clean Spa Technologies. 1. Turn drain handle; check that drain valve is closed. 2. Open the faucet handle and fill tub with water until the water level is 1” above jets. 3. Press air button switch jetting on to start the GeniJetsTM. 4. Adjust the air control manifold. At no time must the pump be turned on when the system is dry, as damage may occur. Such damage is not covered by warranty. While the jet action is in operation, do not use an excessive amount of soap, bath oils or detergent, as high action turbulence often causes foaming. Shutting down 1. 2. 3. Push in air button switch and turn jets off. Turn drain handle and check drain valve is open. Clean Tub. User Maintenance instructions The GeniJetTM must be cleaned between usages. The following procedure is suggested: Spray and clean tub and GeniJetsTM using Hydrogen Peroxide 3 to 11% then wipe down using freshly washed towel. Do not use ‘Bleach’ or products containing chlorine. Stains For stubborn stains start with a liquid detergent, if this does not work, try a mild powder detergent such as Spic and Span, which also works well for removing heavy soap film. Cleaning pads made of nylon; saran or polyethylene containing no abrasives may be used. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE SCOURING POWDERS OR METAL SCOURING PADS as they can permanently damage the finish. A mild abrasive action can be accomplished with an automotive type of rubbing compound. There are several types available, both coarse and fine. The fine ones take a little longer to remove a stain, but they do not dull the surfaces as much. Should your stain removal result in a dull area; the shine can be restored with an automotive polish and wax, such as Turtle Wax. Things to Avoid Sand and grit. Dropped tools. Acetone on any acrylic surface. Bleach. Damage Should your unit suffer accidental damage or require servicing, a qualified repairperson must perform it. Consult your plumber, wholesaler or Clean Spa Representative. Precautions and Maintenance 1. 2. 3. 4. Disconnect power before any maintenance is performed. Do not use heavy force on controller parts and accessories. Water level must be 1” above the jets. If a spill of nail polish remover occurs, immediately wash out with clean water. Never attempt to clean the chair or tub with nail polish remover. (Spill may void the warranty) 5. Never attempt to turn on the power switch without water in the tub. (Running dry may void the warranty.) 6. Massage controller and any electrical devices must stay away from the water in Tub area. 7. Tell each and every customer to use care and caution when using the foot spa. 8. Check the water temperature before every use – hot water is dangerous. 9. All units are factory-tested for operation and leaks 10. The unit must not be operated unless it is properly connected through a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter GFCI (Class A type). 11.
