In addition other care is required on a weekly/ monthly basis, in addition to work to be performed only when required. 1 Cleanliness The operator is responsible for the cleanliness of the vending machine, which is to be supervised particularly by the cleaning personnel. All work on beverage vending machines is subject to general hygienic requirements. ▪▪ Aways wash and thoroughly disinfect hands before handling foodstuffs. ▪▪ Use only cleaning agents approved by Sielaff for cleaning the vending machine: ▪▪ Cleaning tablets, Art.No.: 402 00 919 00, Index 1 ▪▪ Cleaning agent for milk frother Art.No.: 998 00 119 57 ▪▪ After cleaning ensure that the parts coming into contact with foodstuffs are no longer touched. ▪▪ Avoid coughing or sneezing when handling open foodstuffs. ▪▪ Seal open products properly and store securely. ▪▪ Remove all product residues ▪▪ Store products separately, cool and dry Thorough cleaning at the prescribed cleaning intervals is a basic prerequisite for proper, hygienic beverage quality. Thorough and regular cleaning and service is possible with at a minimum of time and costs. CAUTION! CAUTION! Perishable foodstuff Hazard of food poisoning and illness! ▪▪ Observe expiration date specified by product manufacturer ▪▪ Replace expired products within due time with product with valid expiration date ▪▪ Never use products after expiration date ▪▪ Do not use products due to expire shortly ▪▪ Use only products suitable for vending machines ▪▪ Use only pre-cooled milk ▪▪ Use fresh milk every day ATTENTION! Excessively high cleaning temperature! Damage to plastic parts! ▪▪ When cleaning plastic vending machine parts, do not exceed a temperature of 65°C. ▪▪ Ensure that the cleaning pan is located below the beverage discharge during the cleaning program. ▪▪ The drip tray can be damaged by liquids with a temperature above 65°C. ▪▪ When using a direct drain: Do not allow hot liquids over 65°C to run into the drip tray NOTE Cleaning and service work performed should be entered in a cleaning logbook. ATTENTION! Open the vending machine door 2. Lift the cover on the brewer slightly and then pivot it slightly to the front so that the top of the brewer is free. 3. Clean coffee ground residues from the top of the brewer with the brush supplied. 4. Replace the cover on the brewer ATTENTION: Ensure that the brewer covers is installed correctly (see figure) 2.1.2 Run cleaning program NOTE The cleaning program lasts a total of approx. 11 minutes (with fresh milk) If the cleaning program is interrupted or terminated prematurely, a message appears. It is then necessary to start the cleaning program again. Use only cleaning agents approved by Sielaff to clean the vending machine: 402 00 919 00 - Cleaning tablets 998 00 119 57 - Cleaning agent for milk frother ATTENTION! The cleaning agent is irritating to eyes and skin. Keep cleaning agent out of reach of children. In the event of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a physician. CAUTION! Hot liquid! What is to be cleaned? The milk system (fresh milk versions only), the brewer and the mixer shell are cleaned Cleaning solution for fresh milk When fresh milk is used, it is necessary to prepare a cleaning solution Fresh milk versions only: Preparing cleaning solution 1. Pour 50 ml of the cleaning concentrate into vessel with handle supplied. 2. Then fill the vessel with luke warm water. 3. Pull the milk intake hose (red hose) out of the milk container 4. Remove the milk container and empty it 5. Place the milk intake hose in the cleaning solution (vessel with handle) 6/14 415 00 904 01 _ 001 Siamonie 01 Siamonie 01 TS 1. Remove the milk intake hose from the handle vessel. Clean the hose with a rag and detergent 12. Remove the milk intake hose from the vessel with handle. Clean the hose with a rag and detergent 10. Fill the milk container with fresh milk and reinsert the milk into the milk container. Close the door on the refrigeration box. 13. Fill the milk container with fresh milk and reinsert the milk into the milk container. Close the door on the refrigeration box. 2.1.3 Grounds container and surplus water tank 1. Open the vending machine door 2. Remove the grounds and surplus water containers from the vending machine toward the front 3. Empty the surplus water tank and clean it with a rag and detergent 4. Return the surplus water tank to the vending machine 5. Remove the plastic bag with coffee grounds from the grounds container. Place a new plastic bag in the grounds container and reinstall the grounds container in the vending machine. Ensure that the grounds container contact is actuated when replacing the grounds container. 2.1.4 Drip tray and drip grill 1. Open the vending machine door 2. Remove the drip tray from the vending machine toward the front 3. Clean the tray and drip grill with a rag and detergent 4. Replace the drip grill in the drip tray 5. Ensure that the drip tray contacts are dry 6. Push the drip tray into the vending machine 2.1.5 Cup tray If milk gets into the connectors the lactose can make them sticky. The sleeves are then very difficult to slide. Prevention To prevent this place a few drops of milk cleaner on the inside of the sleeves. Rinse them with cold water. 8/14 415 00 904 01 _ 001 2.1.6 Beverage discharge 1. Pull off all hoses installed on the beverage discharge. Pay attention to the position of the hoses 2. The beverage discharge can be pushed up out of the guide. Simultaneously press the suspension down with a finger to allow it to be pried out of the guide. 3. Clean the beverage discharge thoroughly with a rag and detergent 4. Reinstall in opposite sequence. The beverage discharge can be cleaned in a dishwasher at a max. temperature of 65°C. 2.1.7 Coffee chute Passage It is necessary to clean the coffee chute daily and weekly. Clean the coffee chute daily with a brush and weekly with hot water and standard commercially available dishwasher detergent and then rinse the coffee chute with flowing hot water. Ensure that the coffee chute is completely dry after cleaning. Lug The coffee chute can be removed simply upward. It only hooked on two lugs. After cleaning ensure that the coffee chute is installed properly and seated correctly. 2.1.8 Milk container (fresh milk versions only) 1. Open refrigeration compartment door 2. Remove the milk container while pulling out the hose 3. Lift the cover 4. Empty out the milk 5. Thoroughly clean the milk container. Thoroughly rinse the milk container with clear water 6. Fill with fresh precooled milk. Reinstall the milk container and insert the hose into the cover 415 00 904 01 _ 001 9/14 2.2 Weekly work 2.2.1 Milk frother G 1. Open the door C 2. Pull the three hoses off the milk frother. Pull milk frother A out of its holder with force (Caution: Do not twist milk frother) 3. Remove cover C and sleeve B from milk frother D F 4. Recommendation: Place the individual parts in cleaning solution for approx. 20 minutes (Sielaff milk cleaner) A 5. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clear water. Reassembly: Align recess D on cover C with vertical fitting. Press cover uniformly into mixer body. Ensure that cover makes uniform contact; do not pinch gasket. This can best be accomplished by moistening the gasket with water! E B 6. Insert sleeve B firmly into lower part of milk frother 7. Press entire milk frother A into holder. Ensure that it is seated correctly 8. Reconnect all hoses 9. Check for proper function with a test sale for a milk product A Milk frother B Sleeve C Cover D Recess, notch E Frothed milk hose F Milk feed hose G Air hose 2.2.2 Instant container and instant chutes 1. Remove the cover from the instant container 2. Slide the product chute upward This prevents instant powder from falling out of the instant container 3. Pry at the top of the instant container to release the arresting pin 4. Pull the instant container slightly toward the front to release the mechanical connection at the rear. After releasing, the container can be removed upward 5. Empty the containers and knock them out dry 6. Clean the containers with hot water and standard, commercially available dishwasher detergent and rinse with flowing hot water 7. D ry the containers thoroughly with a clean dishtowel/disposable towel. Ensure that the containers are completely dry 8. B efore replacing the cleaned container, clean and dry the stainless steel container base plate 9. R efill with products (wash hands before filling. Avoid direct contact with the instant powder). 10. Align the instant chutes with the center of the mixer shell 10/14 415 00 904 01 _ 001 2.2.3 Bean container The bean container should be cleaned once a week. 1. Open the door. Insert the service key into the door contact switch CAUTION: Moving parts on inside of vending machine 2. Remove the covers on the bean containers 3. Press the two sliding locks on the bean containers down against the stop 4. Recommendation: Allow the grinders to run for a time with the service functions [10M] and [11M] to prevent beans from falling out of the grinder chute 5. Unscrew the retaining screw and remove the bean containers 6. Clean the containers with hot water and standard, commercially available dishwasher detergent and rinse with flowing hot water 7. Dry the containers thoroughly with a clean dishtowel/disposable towel. Ensure that the containers are completely dry 8. Correctly install the two bean containers. Tighten the retaining screw 9. Refill with beans 10. Pull the two sliding locks toward the front to fill the grinders 2.2.4 Mixer unit 1. Slide the instant chute upward 2. Remove the instant container 3. Pull the exit hose from the mixer housing 4. Turn the green flange counter-clockwise until it catches. Turning motion from "6 o'clock position" to "5:30 position" 5. Pull mixer housing with vent off toward front 6. Pull mixer vane from shaft 7. Turn the green flange counter-clockwise to the next catch position. 8. Turning motion from "5:30 position" to "4:00 o'clock position" 9. Pull green flange from shaft 10. Remove baffle plate 11. Clean baffle plate, mixer housing, mixer vent, flange and mixer vane thoroughly with hot water and standard commercially available dishwasher detergent. Then rinse the individual parts under flowing hot water and dry them thoroughly with a clean dishtowel 12. Reinstall the individual parts in the opposite order. Ensure that the mixer vane is seated correctly (marking on mixer vane should be aligned with flat spot on shaft!) 13. Reinstall the instant container and center the topping chute on the mixer shell. The steam boiler is rinsed Approx. 1.5 liters of hot water are used Approx. 5 minutes are required to rinse the steam boiler After rinsing the steam boiler, the vending machine emits large quantities of steam. The vending machine is then ready for further use 4. Remove cup tray 5. Place black cleaning pan below beverage discharge 6. Press [Start flushing] 7. The steam boiler is rinsed Approx. 1.5 liters of hot water are used Approx. 5 minutes are required to rinse the steam boiler After rinsing the steam boiler, the vending machine emits large quantities of steam. The vending machine is then ready for further use CAUTION! Hot liquid! 415 00 904 01 _ 001 13/14 2.3.2 Baffle plate 1. Remove all hoses from the mixer housing 2. Remove the mixer housing 3. Slide the instant chutes upward Remove the instant containers 4. Pull the baffle plate out toward the front 5. Open the baffle plate and clean it thoroughly 6. Also clean the channel where the baffle plate is inserted Reinstall in opposite sequence. 2.3.3 Direct drain You machine can be equipped with a direct drain as an option. The waste water in the drip tray can then drain out immediately. Then it is no longer necessary to empty the drip tray. The direct drain can be connected either at the rear or at the bottom It is necessary to clean the opening with a brush depending on the version. 1. Open the door 2. Remove the drip tray together with drip grill 3. Clean the direct drain as well as the hose guides with the brush supplied NOTE Before reinstalling the drip tray ensure that the drip tray contacts are dry 14/14 415 00 904 01 _ 001
