Cleaning Instructions for fi-5530C Scanner BEFORE CLEANING Open the ADF while pressing the cover open button It is recommended that these items be cleaned EVERY 1,000 SCANS Consumables Part Number CON-3334-004A Consumable Kit SC-CLE-WGD Cleaning Kit Eject Rollers ADF Button Pad Assy Feed Rollers Pick Roller Glass Plastic Rollers Turn the Scanner OFF while cleaning the following locations Using F1 Impregnated Cleaning Wipes Pad Assy Wipe downwards. When cleaning take care to prevent the cleaning wipe from catching on the metal parts. ADF Glass Surfaces x 2 Located on the ADF cover and opposite side. Clean lightly. Pick Roller Clean lightly taking care not to scratch the surface. Plastic Rollers x 4 Clean lightly while rotating with your finger. Take care not to roughen the surface. P.T.O. Cleaning Instructions for fi-5530C Scanner PFU Imaging Solutions Europe Ltd Eject Rollers Pad Assy Feed Rollers Pick Roller Glass Plastic Rollers Turn the Scanner ON while cleaning the following locations Using F1 Impregnated Cleaning Wipes Open the ADF only if the Function Number Display is showing “1” through “9”. Simultaneously hold down the “Send to” and “Scan” buttons on the operator panel. The Feed Rollers will start to rotate slowly. As a guideline, 7 presses of the “Send to” and “Scan” buttons make the rollers rotate one full turn. Function Number Display Function Scan Send to Power Button LED Feed Rollers x 2 Clean lightly taking care not to roughen the surface. Eject Rollers x 2 Clean lightly taking care not to roughen the surface.
