Cleaning Instructions for ScanSnap S1300 BEFORE CLEANING Open the ADF while pulling the cover open lever It is recommended that these items be cleaned EVERY 1,000 SCANS Consumables Consumable Kit Cleaning Kit Part Number CON-3360-001A SC-CLE-WGD ADF Cover Open Lever Pad Assy Plastic Rollers EjectRollers Feed Rollers Pick Roller White Sheets Glass Turn the Scanner OFF while cleaning the following locations Using F1 Impregnated Cleaning Wipes Pad Assy Wipe downwards. When cleaning take care to prevent the cleaning wipe from catching on the metal parts ADF Glass Surfaces x 2 Located on the ADF cover and opposite side. Clean lightly. Pick Roller Clean lightly taking care not to scratch the surface. Plastic Rollers x 4 Clean lightly while rotating with your finger. Take care not to roughen the surface. White Sheets x 4 White strips along the edge of the glass. Clean lightly. P.T.O. Cleaning Instructions for ScanSnap S1300 PFU Imaging Solutions Europe Ltd Pad Assy Plastic Rollers Eject Rollers Feed Rollers Pick Roller White Sheets Glass Turn the Scanner ON while cleaning the following locations Using F1 Impregnated Cleaning Wipes To rotate the Feed and Eject Rollers, open the ADF and hold down the SCAN button for three seconds while the power lamp lights is blue. The rotation can be repeated as long as the ADF is open. As a guideline, seven presses of the POWER button make the rollers rotate one full turn. Hold down the SCAN button for three seconds Rollers will rotate Feed Rollers x 2 Clean lightly taking care not to roughen the surface. Eject Rollers x 2 Clean lightly taking care not to roughen the surface.
