CliniMix® Wall Mounted Progressive Thermostatic Mixer with Proximity Sensor Specification Data Sheet *Design of face plate to match designers requirements Description Typical Dimension Code: WM-TMVPMW-PS CliniMix® Wall Mounted Progressive Basin Thermostatic Mixer with Proximity Sensor. This new design for use in medical or nursing procedures, provides state of the art features to comply with the latest healthcare requirements. The CliniMix® Progressive Thermostatic Mixing Valve with proximity sensor will activate when the user's hands are in the set detection area, and will operate for the period the user's hands are in that area. Suitable for high and low pressure systems it can be set to deliver a thermostatically controlled water temperature of 45ºC maximum. Performance Standards & Approvals -- AS 4032.1 – WaterMark AS 4032.1 WMKA 21989 SAI Global Environment ISO 14001 © Galvin Engineering Pty Ltd: 2015 Specialised commercial taps and valves Specification Data Sheets Features include -- The first Australian approved Progressive Mixer with an inbuilt thermal disinfection facility for the wall mounted basin unit, helping to minimise the build-up of bacteria. -- Enables water to be mixed closer to the point of discharge, minimising warm water which can provides the ideal condition for legionella bacteria to grow. -- Completely smooth internal components and body, combined with the unique design of the downward angled spout and hygienic flow straightener, limiting bacterial developmentvand reduces scale build-up. -- The body of each CliniMix® Wall Progressive Mixer is specifically designed with an insulated internal fitting that keep its exterior cooler to the touch. -- Fitted with a maximum temperature limiter so there is no risk of accidental scalding. -- Designed to coordinate with our ranges of healthcare taps, with clean smooth lines which facilitates fast and easy cleaning. -- All servicing and commissioning can be done without removing the device, with easy access isolators, which helps minimise the time of commissioning and maintenance. -- Designed to provide stable mixed temperature and rapid shut down in the event of cold water or hot water supply failure. -- Approved to: AS/NZS 4032.1:2005 and complies with AS/NZS 4032.4 -- Hands free operation to minimise the spread of infection. Specification for TMV This mixer is designed to be installed on all types of plumbing systems. Hot and cold water supply pressures should be reasonably balanced, however, the mixer will function within specification on unequal pressures up to 10:1. The mixer has integral isolating valves which permit servicing of the strainer, check valve/flow regulator and thermostatic cartridge. They are also used for thermal disinfection. The minimum pressure for the correct thermal operation is 20kPa. However, in order to achieve an acceptable flow performance at very low pressures it may be necessary to remove the combined check valve and flow regulators and replace them with simple check valves to facilitate thermal disinfection. 410 Victoria Rd, Malaga, WA 6090 Within Australia: 1300 514 074 Outside Australia: P: +61 (0)8 9249 5900 F: +61 (0)8 9249 5916 [email protected] www.galvinspecialised.com.au ABN: 78 008 719 382 Hot Temperature Supply Range 55°C - 85°C Cold Temperature Supply Range 5°C - 25°C Adjustable Temperature 35°C - 45°C Operating Working Pressure 20 - 500*kPa Maximum Outlet Pressure* 500 kPa Permitted Supply Pressure Variation 10:1 Operating Thermostatic Temp.
