StarServe Infrared Target, 5V Installation Instructions 8050TR Home Management Series StarServe Infrared Target Installation Instructions 1.0 Product Range 8050TR StarServe Infrared Target, 5V 2.0 Description The 8050TR Infrared Target contains an infrared receiver array, designed to receive and relay IR data from remote locations to a centrally located 8053/8VHPIR StarServe Video Hub. An 8050TR Infrared Target may be installed at each TV location, allowing user control of audio/visual equipment (such as VCRs, Cable TV Decoders, CD Players etc) from each remote location. Infrared signals in any StarServe system are broadcast across the same RG6 coaxial cable as used to carry the RF video signals. Significant savings can be realized by not having to run dedicated cabling to support these IR services. The 8050TR StarServe Infrared Target incorporates two F-Type connections, and is designed as an in-line device. Terminations are clearly marked on the rear of the unit.
