· Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected. For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel. Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside, refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Safety Instructions 1. READ INSTRUCTIONS – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before appliance's operated. 2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference. 3. HEED WARNINGS – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to. 4. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS – All operating instructions should be followed. 5. WATER AND MOISTURE – The appliance should not be used near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in web basement. 6. VENTILATION – The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. Do not place on bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow 23

POWER LINES – an outdoor antenna should be located away from power lines. 11. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY – care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings. 12. ESD WARNING – the display does not function properly or not reaction to operation of any the control may due to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and unplug the set. Reconnect after a few seconds. 13. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE – the appliance should be serviced by qualified service personal when: a. the power-supply cord or plug has been damaged. b. Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance enclosure. c. The appliance has been exposed to rain. d. The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged. e. The appliance does not appear to operate normally. 14. SERVICING – the user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the user operation instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel. 15. DO ensure that all electrical connections (including the mains plug, extension leads and inter-connections between the pieces of equipment) are properly made and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Switch off and unplug the power before making or changing connections. 16. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 17. Never unplug your radio by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet.

18. DON'T remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages. 19. DON'T place hot objects or naked flame sources such as lighted candles or nightlight on, or close to equipment. High temperatures can melt plastic and lead to fires. 20. DON'T leave equipment switched on when it is unattended unless it is specifically stated that it is designed for unattended operation. Switch off using the switch on the equipment and make sure that your family knows how to do this. Special arrangements may need to be made for infirm or handicapped people. 21. DON'T continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about if it's working normally or if it's damaged in any way. Switch it off, unplug the mains power and consult your dealer. 22. REPAIR OR REPLACE all electric service cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged immediately. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length, the plug, or the connector end. 23. DON'T place objects filled with liquids, such as vases on the apparatus. 24. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. 25. The mains plug shall remain readily operable. 26. Ensure a minimum distance of 5cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. 27. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation opening with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc. 28. AC POWER Please check carefully the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage. Plug the AC cord into the standard household electrical socket.
BATTERY BACKUP The clock and alarm settings can be protected against AC power failure by 2 “AAA” battery (not included). In the event of a power failure, the display is blank, the clock will continue to operate and the actual time will be maintained. The Clock LCD display and other functions will resume once electrical power is restored. 1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment (Located at the bottom of the unit). 2. Connect 2 “AAA” battery to the battery terminal inside the compartment. 3. Please connected battery into the compartment and replace the cover.
NOTE: - Alarm, Radio and Display do not work on battery - Remove the battery if the unit is not to be used for a long period of time. - Replace the battery every 6 months, or when the battery has worn out (Depends on battery life).

SETTING TIME AND DATE 1. Press & hold SET button for around 2 seconds until the display flash and entered the year setting. 2. Press SCAN+ or SCAN- until the correct year appears in the display. 3. Press SET to confirm 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the month, day and time. Notes: After setting the minute the clock starts from 0 seconds. But if you do not set "Minute", the clock does not start from 0 second
RADIO OPERATION 1. Press the MODE button to turn to radio mode. 2. Adjust the volume using VOL+ or VOL3. Use SCAN+ or SCAN- to tune into the desired station. Press and hold the button for auto forward or backward radio station searching 4. To turn off the radio, press MODE button for around 2 seconds. Notes: For the best FM reception, extend the FM wire antenna to its full length and vary the direction to capture the strongest signal. Do not connect the FM wire antenna to an outdoor antenna.
PRESETTING YOUR FAVOURITE RADIO STATION Up to 10 radio stations in FM could be preset. 1. Follow steps in "Operating the Radio" and manually tune into the station that you wish to preset. 2. Press and hold MEMO button for around 2 seconds, the "MEM" icon is flashing on display then press the MEMO button again for registration (User can also press SCAN+ or SCAN– to set the preset station number). After the preset has finished, the preset number will appear on the display. 3. To preset another station, repeat these steps. 4. To change the preset station, tune into the desired station and press the MEMO button for around 2 seconds, the "MEM" icon is flashing then press SCAN+ or SCAN– to select the preset radio number user want to replace. Press the MEMO button again for registration, the new station will replace the previous station 5. To hear the preset radio station, press the CH+ button once for the next preset stations in cycle. 28

SETTING DUAL ALARMS FUNCTIONS Notes • Before setting the alarm time, make sure the Clock has been set • Alarm can only be set in Clock mode only • When setting the alarm to wake up by Radio, Radio station & volume level will be the same as the last radio operation. (See “RADIO OPERATION"). • The ALARM 1 (or Alarm 2) indicator flashes in the display when the alarm sounds. • Alarm 1 (or/and Alarm2) icon appears when the alarm activated, disappear when disabled. See “TO ACTIVATE / DISABLE ALRM” section for the operation • If a second alarm sounds during a first (or the SNOOZE function is active for the first), the second alarm takes priority. • If both alarm set to the same alarm time. ALARM 1 takes priority. • To stop the alarm, please press the related alarm button (AL1 or AL2) once. To set up Alarm 1 (or Alarm 2), 1. Press AL1 (or AL2) button to enter the alarm mode or for checking the alarm status. If user does not begin setting or does not press any button during the alarm setting within 5 seconds, the system will back to the Clock mode automatically. 2. Alarm sound defaulted as Buzzer. During the alarm setting, user can press the MODE button to select the alarm sound (Buzzer or Radio) 3. To set the alarm hour, press SCAN+ or SCAN- button until the desired hour is reached. 4. Press AL1 (or AL2) to confirm 5. Repeat step 3 and 4 to set the desired minute is reached.
TO ACTIVATE/ DISABLE THE ALARM Before or after setting the alarm time, follow these steps: • To activate the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2), press and hold AL1 (or AL2) button for around 2 seconds the related alarm icon appears. To disable the alarm press and hold the button for around 2 seconds the icon will disappear
SNOOZE SETTING The snooze function can be used to stop the alarm temporarily for about 9 minutes once the alarm is activated. When the snooze button is pressed, the buzzer or radio alarm sounds will stop and will sound again after about 9 minutes. 29

SLEEP TIMER The sleep function allows to play in blocks of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 70, 80 or 90 minutes before shutting off automatically. When in the Radio mode, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until the desired preset time appears on the display (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes). Every push changes the display as follows:

LCD BACKLIGHT / ILLUMINATE LIGHT When it is not in the wake up time, the SNOOZE/LIGTH button is for tuning on the LCB Backlight & Illuminate Light. • Press once for the light ON for 60 seconds • Press and Hold for the lights always ON. LCD backlight will flash once for indication. Press & hold again until the LCD flash once then release to disabling this function
