WARNING: For your own safety please read this manual before attempting to operate your new unit. Failure to follow instructions can result in serious personal injury. Spend a few moments to familiarise yourself with your spreader before each use. GENERAL SAFETY RULES WARNING When using tools, basic safety precautions, including the following, should always be followed to reduce the risk of serious personal injury and/or damage to the unit. Read all the instructions before operating this product and retain these instructions for future reference.
Training 1.
Before using the spreader read the instructions carefully. Familiarise yourself with the controls.
2.
Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the spreader
3.
Never operate while people, especially children or pets are nearby.
4.
Never use the spreader if the operator is taking medicine or substances that could affect or impair his ability to react or concentrate.
5.
Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
Before you start and safe working: 1.
Always wear safety goggles that provide front and side protection for the eyes.
2.
Wear gloves that provide protection from the materials being used in the spreader.
3.
Use appropriate dust masks or respirators for the application.
4.
While operating, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the equipment when barefoot or wearing open toed sandals.
5.
Do not wear clothing or jewellery that may become entangled with the moving parts of the spreader. Keep long hair covered and protected.
6.
The spreader is not a toy. Do not allow children to operate or ride on the spreader.
7.
Follow all precautions provided by the chemical company. Use goggles, hand protection and other recommended personal protection equipment.
8.
Make sure that nuts, screws and bolts are secured properly before starting work.
Warning: Do not touch the rotating parts.

ASSEMBLY 1.Axle Assembly Slide the axle (10) through the plastic pipe of the gear case assembly (3), then secure the gear case assembly (3) and axle (10) with screw M6X35 (12), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18).
Then assemble the support frame (5) to the axle with the wider plastic tube side face outside. See figure 1.
Note: The plastic tube (8) have been already assembled in the support frames (5).
2.Wheel Assembly Place a wheel over one side of the axle followed by a large washer (15) and cotter pin (20), and bend it to secure the wheel. For the other side, secure the wheel and the axle with screw M6X50 (13), small flat washer (16), and lock nut (18). See figure 2, figure 3, figure 4, figure 5.
3.Support Connector Assemble the support connector (4) to the support frame (5) using screw M6X35 (12), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18). See figure 6, figure 7.

4.Leg Brackets Assemble the leg bracket (6) with leg bracket connector (7), using screw M6x35(12), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18), then attach it to the support frame (5) and support bar (9) by using screw M6x60(19), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18).
Refer to figure 9, the numbers identify how to assemble leg brackets (6), support bar (9) and support frame (5).
5.Handles Insert the handles (22) to the leg bracket (6), and then assemble the handle connector plate (23) using screw M6x35((12), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18).
6.Hopper Attach the plastic hopper (1) to the support frame (5) and support bar (9) with screw M6x40 (14), flat washer (16) and lock nut (18), then attach the plastic hopper (1) to the gear case assembly (3) with release pin (11). Then attach the handle brake (1) to the left handle (22) with screw M6X60 (19), flat washer (16), lock washer (17), and hex nut (21).
Note: The bolt washer, lock washer and hex nut have been assembled on the handle brake. See figure 12, figure 13.
7.Secure all fasteners tightly before operating -5-
WARRANTY This product is warranted in accordance with legal regulations for a 24 month period effective from the date of purchase by the first user.
This product will not be covered if used in a commercial application. This warranty covers all material or production failures, it does not include: defects from normal wear and tear, parts such as, bearings, brushes, cables, air cleaning elements, brake pad, clutch disc, tyre, wheel, recoil starter rope, belts, cutter blades, plugs, lubricant oils and grease or accessories. Damage or defects resulting from abuse, accidents or alterations, natural fading of painted or plated surfaces, sheet peeling and other natural deterioration.
Any damage that occurs from the use of non-genuine Cobra parts will not be covered. We reserve the right to reject any claim where the purchase cannot be verified or when it is clear that the product was not maintained properly. (Clean ventilation slots, carbon brushes and serviced regularly)
Expenses incidental to the warranty claim that are not covered; -Compensation for loss of time, commercial loss or rental costs of substitute product. -Costs incurred for transportation to and from the dealership. Any damage that occurs from the following will not be covered; exposure of the product to smoke and soot, chemical agents, bird droppings or other animal waste, seawater, sea breeze, salt or other environmental phenomena. Any damage resulting from operating methods other than those indicated in the owner’s manual will not be covered.
Your purchase receipt must be kept as proof for date of purchase. Your un-dismantled product must be returned to your dealer in an acceptably clean state, accompanied by your proof of purchase.
