S m i r n o f f D o u b l e RE D – featuring – S MIRNOFF V O D K A Royal Cobbler Ingredients Smirnoff Double Red Ingredients 30mL Domaine de Canton French Ginger Liqueur 30mL The Dalmore 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 30mL fresh orange juice 10mL dry Sherry 40mL Smirnoff Red 4mL Johnnie Walker Red Label Orange zest Method Method recommended COCKTAIL RECIPES 1. Pour all the ingredients into a wine glass filled with ice. 2. Garnish with an orange wedge and a ginger chocolate skewer (optional). 1. Stir the Smirnoff Red and Johnnie Walker Red over ice in a mixing glass before straining it into a chilled cocktail glass. 2. Lightly squeeze fresh orange zest over the top and drop it into the glass to garnish. Canton Indochine Caipirinha Ingredients Cosmopolitan Ingredients 45mL Domaine de Canton French Ginger Liqueur 2 tsp sugar 15mL Sagatiba Pure Cachaca Half a fresh lime (cut into 4 wedges) 30mL Smirnoff Vodka 15mL Triple Sec 30mL cranberry juice Juice of half a lime Method 1. Pour the Smirnoff Vodka and all the other ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. 2. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 3. For the finishing touch, garnish with a lemon twist. Method 1. Squeeze and drop lime wedges into an old fashioned (short) glass. 2. Add sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. 3. Add Sagatiba, Domaine de Canton and ice. 4. Stir and serve. 2 recommended COCKTAIL RECIPES Originating in the early part of the nineteenth century, Cocktails began as a simple mix of spirits, sugar, water and bitters, but over the decades they have become far more inventive and extravagant. There are many methods of making cocktails; shaken and strained, stirred, layered, crushed, blended, flamed and even thrown. Here are a few of our current favourites for you to try at home. Ba i l e y s Ic e d Lat t e – featuring – Ba i l e y s I r i s h C r e a m TI P S Double Strain After shaking your cocktail, ensure there are no ice fragments in it by straining it twice. A professionally made cocktail is simultaneously poured through a ‘bar strainer’ placed directly on the shaker and a ‘fine strainer’ into the glass. Two tea strainers work well if you don’t have a bar strainer. Great for a crystal clear Martini. Made from a unique blend of fresh Irish cream, the finest of spirits, Irish Whiskey, sugar and chocolate flavours, this is the ideal after-dinner treat. Cointreau Blush – featuring – Cointreau Muddle This is the classic premium orange liqueur, perfect for world famous cocktails such as the Cosmopolitan and Margarita. Baileys Iced Latte Ingredients Cointreau Blush Ingredients 50mL Baileys Irish Cream 25mL shot of coffee 25mL milk A teaspoon of sugar Ice cubes 30mL Cointreau Pink grapefruit juice Soda water Fresh lime juice Method 1. Pour Cointreau into a tall glass. 2. Add a squeeze of fresh lime. 3. Top with pink grapefruit juice and a dash of soda water. 4. Serve with ice in a tall glass. Method 1. Mix the ice, Baileys, coffee, milk and sugar. 2. Stir it well and pour into a tall latte glass. 3. Add cream on top of the cocktail and sprinkle with chocolate shavings. To ‘muddle’ means to firmly press fruits, herbs or spices in the bottom of a glass to release their flavour. A good alternative to a bar muddler is to use the flat end of a rolling pin. Smirnoff Red has a clean taste, light fragrance and cool finish. Every drop is triple distilled and filtered ten times. Glass Chilling Sugar Syrup Dissolve sugar in boiling water using equal parts sugar and water (e.g. 1 cup of sugar dissolved in 1 cup of boiling water). Use spring or filtered water to ensure the best taste. Caster sugar dissolves easiest. Pre-mixed sugar syrup can be purchased from any Dan Murphy’s store. Make a Shaker If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, a large, thick-walled jam jar is a great substitute. Keep it Cold Shaking a cocktail on ice for a full 20 seconds or until the cocktail shaker gets ‘iced up’ will ensure your cocktail will be super cold and provide optimal presentation. Baileys Chocolatini Ingredients 50mL of Baileys Irish Cream 10mL of Smirnoff Vodka 5mL of chocolate liqueur Ice Method 1. Drop several ice cubes into a shaker. 2. Pour Baileys, Smirnoff Vodka and chocolate liqueur over the ice. 3. Shake together. 4. Strain into a chilled martini glass.  White Lady Ingredients Tips Garnish your Chocolatini with chocolate shavings or chocolate flake. If you don’t have chocolate then try a sprinkling of cocoa powder or hot chocolate powder. 20mL Cointreau 40mL Gin 10mL lemon juice Method 1. Wild Turkey Whiskey Sour Ingredients 60mL Wild Turkey Bourbon 30mL lemon juice 20mL sugar syrup 1 egg white Method Method 1. Shake American Honey, lime juice and mint with ice. 
 2. Strain over ice in a tumbler glass. 3. Top with Ginger Beer.
 4. Add a sprig of fresh mint for garnish. Method 1. Build over ice in a highball glass. 2. Garnish with a slice of apple. Method 1. Muddle lime, add mint leaves, Bundaberg Red Rum, sugar syrup and ice. 2. Shake and pour into highball glass. 3. Top with lemonade. 1. Fill cocktail shaker with all ingredients and ice. 2. Shake vigorously to ensure the egg white is nice and fluffy. 3. Fill tumbler with ice and pour and strain. 4. Add an orange and cherry skewer as a garnish. Pour ingredients in order over ice in a highball glass. 2. Garnish with a wedge of lime. 1. Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. 2. Stir 3 times clockwise and 1 anti-clockwise. 3. Place ice in tumbler glass and pour through a strainer. 4. Place orange twist in the glass to garnish. 1. Add all ingredients to the glass and fill with ice. 2. Squeeze the lime wedge and drop it into the glass 3. Garnish with an apple slice. 30mL Wild Turkey Bourbon 6 lime wedges Ginger beer or dry ginger ale Method 1. Pour Wild Turkey over ice in a large glass tumbler. 
 2. Squeeze 6 lime wedges. 3. Top up with ginger beer or dry ginger ale. Lychee Martini Ingredients 15mL Paraiso Lychee Liqueur 45mL Stolichnaya Vodka 15mL lychee juice 5mL lemon juice Method 1. Add ingredients to cocktail shaker. 2. Shake with ice and fine strain into martini glass. 3. Garnish with a lychee. Paraiso Bliss Ingredients 30mL Paraiso Lychee Liqueur 30mL Midori Orange juice Cranberry juice Method 1. In a tall glass, pour Paraiso and Midori over ice. 2. Top with equal parts of orange and cranberry juice. 3. Garnish with a lychee.  120mL sugar syrup 30mL orange bitters 240mL ginger beer Method 1. Mix all the ingredients except the ginger beer in a jug. 2. Add cubed ice to chill and garnish with slices of blood orange, fresh mint leaves and assorted berries. 3. Top up with ginger beer and serve. Jameson Irish Whiskey Dry & Lime Ingredients 30mL Jameson Irish Whiskey 120mL dry ginger ale Method 1. Add Jameson Irish Whiskey and ice to a tumbler glass. 2. Fill with dry ginger ale and garnish with a wedge of lime.
