Get ready for Adventure Bay Appreciation Week! Parent Guide This guide contains important information. Please keep it for future reference. How to play 1 2 3 4 DOWNLOAD the digital game to your LeapPad™ tablet using instructions on the download card. TAP the game icon on your tablet’s homescreen after downloading to get started. Game overview Offscreen card games Dig in and rescue bunnies, clear roads and more by matching shapes, counting, sorting, adding, subtracting, and completing patterns. Extend the play with card games that don’t require your tablet. Clap and Collect (1-player game) 1. Place the number cards 1 to 10 facedown in front of the player. 2. Flip over a number card. 3. Clap and count up to that number. For example, flip over a “3” and count along with each clap: “1, 2, 3!” FOLLOW instructions on screen to learn how to unlock cards in the game. 4. Collect the card when the number has been correctly clapped and counted. Unleash problem-solving and mathematics skills to earn Good Citizen badges around the bay. CAPTURE the correct card when prompted by holding the tablet so the card fits within the screen. The tablet’s camera will automatically recognize/recognise the card and capture it to unlock magical gameplay. Line Them Up (1-player game) 1. Start with the number cards 1 to 10. 2. Put the number cards in order in a forward sequence from 1 to 10. 3. Next, try putting them in reverse order from 10 to 1. Shape Match (2-player game) 5 EXTEND the play with fun offscreen card games. (See right panel.) Find the pup with the right tools and skills for each mission, and scan cards to bring them into the game. 1. Find the shape cards in the deck: circle, hexagon, rectangle, rhombus, square and triangle. 2. Player 1 chooses a card and finds an object that matches the shape on that card. Note: This LeapFrog Imagicard™ game works with LeapPad tablets, excluding LeapPad1. 3. Player 1 gives the shape card to Player 2 and tells Player 2 to look for the same shape somewhere in the room. Card anatomy This game also includes Digital Card Picker—Enables kids to keep playing, even if they lose a card. Border helps camera detect each unique card. Paw Patrol Challenge—Answer 50+ trivia questions in a fun pass-around game! Card center/centre features characters or core curriculum. Photo Fun—Take “selfies” with favorite/favourite pups and bring them to life in the real world. Decorate your photos with stickers earned in-game and save to the gallery. Select cards feature additional curricular support or names. This LeapFrog Imagicard™ deck includes 33 cards (7 character cards, 20 number cards and 6 shape cards). Instructions for care For indoor, dry-location use only. Routinely check the product for condition. If torn, frayed or otherwise damaged, remove from use. Keep food and beverages away from product. Do not spill liquid of any kind on this product as it may cause damage or cause the product to become soft and thus a choking hazard. Avoid exposing product to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Troubleshooting For the best LeapFrog Imagicard™ experience, use the cards on a flat surface and in a well-lit area. Player 2 moves around the room looking for an object that matches the shape on the card. Player 1 can provide hints such as “You’re getting warmer!” when Player 2 is getting close to the object. 5.
