Printing is supported from Mac OS X, OS 9, and Windows. Quality Output RIP, color correct, and print on-the-fly. ColorBurst High Quality screening. Print directly from your favorite applications, such as Photoshop, from any networked computer. 16-Bit Raster Image Support ColorBurst recognizes CMYK, RGB, Lab, 16-bit, and color-mapped TIFFs, including TIFFs with LZW compression. RGB and CMYK JPEG files are also supported. Job Manager Jobs can be reordered, deleted, or placed on hold to be processed later. Printed files can be archived for reprinting without having to re–RIP them, saving processing time. Linearization All versions of ColorBurst come prelinearized to give customers the best results right out of the box. Using linearization ensures that your profiles are always accurate. As your machine ages it can always be brought back to its original state with ColorBurst. Input Profiles ColorBurst has separate Input ICC Profile settings for RGB, CMYK, and grayscale images. Embedded profiles can be turned on or off — this is a must for any user who is embedding profiles in Photoshop or any other ICC–savvy application. Output Profiles ColorBurst not only utilizes CMYK output profiles but we also have included a proofing feature for pre–press workflows. ColorBurst users can simulate any press or other CMYK output device through the Proofer feature. For Digital Proofing Includes all of the features of X·Photo plus PANTONE® color support.
