With the ViaSat Commercial Broadband Modem 124 (CBM-124), you can quickly integrate mesh networking and routing with any VSAT satellite communications antenna for all-in-one tactical communications that can withstand any type of weather. The ViaSat CBM-124 is an all-inclusive Ethernet-based unit that houses a ViaSat LinkWayS2™ satcom modem, an Ethernet/IP router, and access to ViaSat’s Computer Aided Manual Point (CAMP) Android™ application. When paired with a satcom antenna, the ViaSat CBM-124 provides rapidly-deployable broadband networking for multiple users. This device simplifies logistics and consolidates the hardware footprint to a single Ethernet-based networking unit ready for outside operations and storage near field shelters and logistics centers, as well as on vehicles. The embedded satcom modem delivers on-the-move and on-the-pause communications, while the integrated Ethernet router creates a network access point for groups of operators and private enclaves. By using the ViaSat CAMP Android smartphone app, one person can easily set up and accurately point an antenna that is integrated with the ViaSat CBM-124 with minimal training.
