“Doing my job can be a real juggling act.” Office professionals spend much of their day collaborating with partners, customers and colleagues on the phone. Yet they are often located in noisy, open plan offices, and cannot afford to be wasting time repeating information or asking callers to do so. Office professionals have to get the information they need from telephone conversations as quickly as possible, and sometimes have to be highly persuasive during calls, therefore clear communication and background noise cancellation is key. Requirements for the office professional also include lightweight, comfortable and easy to use tools that deliver the best possible audio quality, all day talk time, exceptional call quality and ideally the ability to keep functioning whilst away from the desk.
99% of respondents to a recent survey1 said they regularly send and receive email on various devices, making it the most popular business communication and collaboration tool. But email isn’t always very clear and can frequently cause confusion and anxiety. Half of those polled said that a misunderstood email message ‘caused tension’ in a relationship, and 72% said they had to follow up email with a phone call to clarify when they had a business issue. Making a telephone call in the first instance can save time and energy and ensure workers are clearly understood first time.
