7 operation modes: Compass, Time (T1), Dual Time (T2), Temperature, Chronograph, Timer and Alarm. Electronic compass with digital direction indication in 8 Cardinal positions together with degrees. Temperature of 0.1 degree resolution and with working range from 4°F (-20°C) to 131°F (55°C). Temperature displayed in °F or °C, selectable by user. 12/24-hour display formats selectable. Auto calendar from 2000-2029. 1/100-second chronograph with working range up to 24 hours. With lap and split time selectable. 1-second resolution Timer with working range of 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. User option for Count Down Stop, Count Down Repeat and Count Down Up function. 2 schedule alarms that can be for T1 or T2 and also be set as daily alarms. Hourly chime signal, chime “on” with button confirmation sound. 3 seconds EL back light.

E. HOW TO CALIBRATE AND USE COMPASS

B. EL BACK LIGHT Press S4 for EL back light with 3 seconds auto light up.
Remarks: 1. Time mode (T1) and Dual Time mode (T2) count up individually with the same second. 2. When Time mode (T1) is displayed, press and hold S1 for not exceeding 2 seconds can view the dual time without changing the mode. 3. When Dual Time mode (T2) is displayed, press and hold S1 not exceeding 2 seconds you can view the normal time without changing the mode. 4. If there is no button operation for 2-3 minutes in setting mode, the watch will automatically return back to Normal Time mode or Dual Time mode respectively.

Calibrate the compass before use. At any mode, press S2 to enter Compass mode.

Press S3 to show Temperature mode, mode prompt “TE” will be displayed for 1 second. Weekday, time and temperature are shown at the upper, middle and lower row of the LCD respectively. Press and hold S1 for 3 seconds to toggle °F or °C display. The temperature displayed can be offset, to a maximum of ± 5 degrees, from the detected temperature. Press and hold S4 for 3 seconds to start temperature offsetting process with 1/10 degree digit of detected temperature flashing. With each press of S1 the selected digits can be adjusted (flashing) they flash. Press and hold S1 for fast scrolling. With each press of S3, next digits will flash and can be adjusted. The sequence is shown as follows:

Press S3 to show Chronograph mode, mode prompt “CH” will be displayed for 1 second. “CH”, chronograph time and time are shown at the upper, middle and lower row of the LCD respectively. Press S1 to start the chronograph, a flag at the perimeter of the LCD will start rotating clockwise. For the first 30 minutes, the chronograph shows minutes, seconds and 1/100-seconds, then the chronograph shows hours, minutes and seconds. Press S1 to take split time, “split” time will be shown for about 10 seconds (with “SPL” flashing), then the display will show current running time of chronograph. Press S1 again to take the next split time. Press S4 to stop the chronograph, flag at the perimeter of the LCD will stop rotating. Then press S1 to re-start the chronograph, or press S4 again to reset the chronograph back to zeros.

Remarks: 1. The compass produces digital direction indication in 8 positions together with degree. 2. Calibration allows user to align the watch magnetic sensor with the earth’s magnetic field so that the watch can detect correct direction, and this is recommended to be done in open areas. 3. Always keeps the watch in a horizontal level when using or calibrating the compass, otherwise it may result is wrong direction indication. 4. While calibrating the compass, if the watch is rotated less than 2 rotations or the time for each rotation is less than 15 seconds, then it may result in wrong direction indication. 5. With the declination angle added, a magnetic’ north will be adjusted by the clockwise shift or anti-clockwise shift of this angle, giving the true north. The range of declination angle is 00° E to 99° E and 00° W to 99° W.

After all adjustments are completed, press S4 to end the setting process.
Remarks: 1. The working range of temperature is -4°F (-20°C) to 131°F (55°C), and beyond the limits the display shows “- -”. And temperature is of 0.1-degree resolution. 2. Offsetting temperature more than ± 5 degrees will not be accepted, and pressing S4 will return back to the beginning of the offsetting process. 3. Press and hold S1 for not exceeding 2 seconds can view °F or °C display without changing the display. 4. The display will exit Temperature mode and change to time mode automatically after about 4 hours. 5. If there is no button operation for about 2-3 minutes while offsetting temperature, the watch will exit offsetting process and change to time mode automatically. 6. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag at Temperature mode.

When setting seconds, pressing S1 while the second digits count between 30 to 59 will reset the second digits to 00 and 1 will be added to the minute digits. Year can be set from 2000 to 2029. When setting 12/24Hr, press S1 to toggle 12-hour or 24-hour display formats. If 24-hour display format is selected there will be no “PM” symbol. After all adjustments are completed, press S4 to exit the setting mode.
When setting T1/T2, press S1 to toggle setting between Time mode (T1) or Dual Time mode (T2). After all adjustments are complete, press S4 to exit the setting mode. Press and hold S1 for 3 seconds to toggle the alarm and the chime function on or off. If the alarm or the chime function is “on”, the corresponding icon will be shown. chime icon

Remarks: 1. There are 2 schedule alarms that work independently presented by alarm numbers, T1/T2, hours, minutes,month, day and status. They can be set to use as daily alarms if month and day are set to “- -”. 2. The alarm sounds for 20 seconds if the alarm function is “on”. Press any button to stop the alarm sound. 3. If the chime function is “on”, the watch will give out “Beep” sound at every full hour and there will be button confirmation sound. 4. The alarm function is automatically set to “on” when entering setting mode. 5. The alarm icon is displayed at the time mode (T1 or T2) that the alarm is set to refer to. 6. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag for alarm time. 7. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag at “AL” (chime) display. 8. If there is no button operation for 2-3 minutes in setting mode, the watch will return back to Alarm mode automatically.
K. HOW TO RESET THE WATCH
Press S3 to show Alarm mode, mode prompt “AL” will be displayed for 1 second. Press S1 to select “A1” (alarm 1), “A2” (alarm 2) or “AL” (chime). “A1”/ “A2” and T1/T2 are shown at the upper row, alarm time and status are shown at the middle row, and date of alarm is shown at the lower row of the LCD for alarm time display. “AL”, chime status and time are shown at the upper, middle and lower row of the LCD respectively for chime display. At alarm time display, press and hold S4 for 3 seconds to enter setting mode. The hour digits start flashing. With each press of S1, the selected digits or T1/T2 to be adjusted (flashing) can be made. Press and hold S1 for fast setting. With each press of S3, next digits or T1/T2 for setting can be selected. HOW TO USE THE TIMER

Remarks: 1. The timer is of 1-second resolution and with working range up to 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. 2. There are 3 kinds of timer function, Count Down Stop “CS”, Count Down Repeat “CR” and Count Down Up “CU” can be selected. 3. For Count Down Up “CU” function, the timer can count up to 24 hours and then stop automatically. 4. If preset timer time is less than 30 seconds, the watch will beep for 1 second when the timer counts down to zero. And if preset timer time is equal to or more than 30 seconds, the watch will beep for about 10 seconds when timer counts down to zero. Press any button can stop the “Beep” sound. 5. If there is no button operation for 2-3 minutes in setting mode, the watch will return back to Timer mode automatically. 6. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag at Timer mode.

F. HOW TO SET NORMAL TIME AND DUAL TIME

When setting CS/CR/CU, press S1 to select between Count Down Stop “CS”, Count Down Repeat “CR” and Count Down Up “CU” functions. After all adjustments are completed, press S4 to exit the setting mode. Press S1 to start the timer, a flag at the perimeter of the LCD will start rotating anti-clockwise when the timer is counting down. Press S4 to stop the timer, the flag at the perimeter of the LCD will stop rotating. Then press S1 to re-start the timer or press S4 again to reload the preset timer time.
Remarks: 1. The chronograph is with 1/100-second resolution for first 30 minutes and 1-second resolution for the rest and with working range up to 24 hours, then the chronograph stop automatically. 2. A flag at the perimeter of the LCD will be rotating clockwise when chronograph is running, and it will stop rotating when chronograph is stopped or reset. 3. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag at Chronograph mode.

6. If “Er” is displayed, the compass needs to be calibrated again. 7. If there is no button operation for about 70 seconds in Compass mode, the watch will return back to the previous mode automatically. 8. If 24-hour display format is selected for time mode, there will be no “PM” flag at Compass mode.

EAST / WEST
When setting East/West, press S1 to toggle East or West. After all adjustments are completed, press S4 to end setting and return back to Compass mode. Holding the product in a horizontal level, press S2 and the direction of the LCD’s 12 o’clock position (indicated by a triangle printed on the LCD) will be shown. And 4 flags will be displayed at the perimeter of the LCD with the singular one pointing north. Press and hold S2 for 3 seconds, then direction will be detected continuously for 5 seconds. To exit Compass mode, press S3 and the watch will return back to the previous mode.
Cautious: The compass is very sensitive to magnetic or electric fields, so you must avoid using or calibrating the compass near any magnetic or electronic devices, as these devices may affect the direction detected.

Direction is shown at the top 2 rows and time is shown at the lower row of the LCD. Select a place away from any magnetic or electronic devices (preferably open areas), press and hold S4 for 3 seconds, and the compass will be ready for calibration with “CAL” displayed. Holding the product on horizontal level or on top of the wooden table, rotate the product slowly for 2 complete rotations (each must last for at least 15 seconds), then press S4 to end the calibration and enter declination angle setting with the tens of degree digit flashing. With each press of S1, the selected digit or East/West can be adjusted (flashing). Press and hold S1 for fast scrolling. With each press of S3, the next digit or East/West for setting (flashing) can be selected. The sequence is shown as follow:

Press all buttons simultaneously, all segments will be “on”, then release the buttons and the watch will be reset. After reset the display will be as follow:

Remark: After reset, press S2 will start compass calibration process.
L. BATTERY REPLACEMENT Replace the exhausted battery with a CR2032 cell or equivalent.
