Radius Waler (articulated) is excellent for circular concrete structures and other concrete walls that require the most cost-effective, labor saving method available. Can be used for concrete walls from 20’-0” to 180’-0”. The centering of the walers will determine the allowable form pressure that this system will withstand. 1200 PSF is commonly used. Field assembly is very fast and is accomplished with only a few workers. A simple template must be job built for setting the correct Inside Form Radius and Outside Form Radius. Forms are ready for use very soon after arrival at the jobsite. When conditions are possible, the Radius Waler can be assembled at the contractor’s facility and shipped on a flat bed. Modular tank forms also available. We pre-assemble all gang forms in our factory. This creates a larger shear area around the column, avoiding capital heads and drop heads around the column. PE Stamped. Stay-Box System Stay-Box (Rebar-Dowel Bar Key Way) is a two-piece system with preassembled rebar and a box keyway unit. The box is made in two halves from plain or galvanized sheet metal per project requirement. Typical dimensions are 1.5” deep; 2.5”, 3.5”, 6” or 8” wide by 48” long. Those are standard sizes but product can be fabricated in almost any shape required. The two-part box is designed so the back portion of box remains in the concrete and the front portion removes, allowing access to the bend out portion of rebar. The box itself and both ends are taped together. Simply nail the Stay-Box in position during form installation.
