SPEX UPC Frames Data Installation for Compulink Congratulations on using Frames Data with Compulink! You’re on your way to a successful inventory process. To get started, read the steps listed below: NOTE: The process may take 20 minutes or longer, depending on the speed of your computer, CD/DVD drive and other factors. All other Compulink functions on this computer will not be available until the process is complete. Launch the Compulink Advantage software and log in. In the Menu Bar, click on the Utility, then Frames Data Update.
You will be asked to type or confirm the Drive letter where the Frames Data CD is inserted. Make sure the Drive letter is correct. Then click OK. If you do not know which drive letter is assigned to your CD/DVD drive, open Computer (or My Computer), and check the drive letter that holds the Frames Data CD. In the example below, the CD is labeled UPC122012 and is in Drive D:.

SPEX UPC Frames Data Installation for Compulink After you click OK, you will be prompted to insert the Frames Data CD into the drive. Insert the disc into the drive. If you have already inserted the disc into the right drive, you may still receive this prompt. Click OK.
The data will begin to load. You will see the following screen:
The process may take 20 minutes or longer, depending on the speed of your computer, CD/DVDROM drive and other factors. When the process is completed, the window will disappear. Your Frames database is now updated. If any issues occur during any of these processes, please try these steps again. NOTE: If your computer has trouble reading the Frames Data SPEX UPC disc, try a different computer. If disc cannot be read, is damaged, or does not contain the correct data, please contact Frames Data Support at
