Verify the fundamental operation of the camera by connecting it directly to the personal computer using a crossover cable. Then, using the procedure described in the TrangoLink-10 user manual, configure the Master Unit (MU) and Remote Unit (RU) so that they associate with each other. Connect the camera to the RU side and connect the monitoring computer to the MU side.

JVC VN-C30U DIGITAL NETWORK CAMERA
The JVC VN-C30U Digital Network Camera's output can be viewed with the JVC controller software or with many popular web browsers. With the controller software, you can watch in either MPEG-1 or JPEG mode. For MPEG, set "Slice Header Frequency" to 16, image size to 320x240, 1000-2048KBps, GOP closed, and Frame Pattern "IPPPP", using 1/60 shutter speed. For JPEG, select the quality setting; we used 2 or 3. For use with a motion detector, select "Alarm 1 on", "Go to Preset", Preset Position", and the recording time. If either the camera or the personal computer is connected to a network hub, use straight-through cables instead of crossover cables to connect the device to the hub and the hub to the junction box. Power for camera is separate.
