New Opportunities in an Evolving Enterprise The demand by businesses for greater efficiency and productivity, along with technological advances in applications and devices, has precipitated a rapid and global change in how work is done. All of which opens up a significant new market opportunity for the sales growth of audio devices. Consider the data: • Office and contact center headset market revenue is expected to grow at a rate of 12.5% from 2012 to 2019.1 • That represents an increase from $978.3 to $2,226.4 million from 2012 to 2019.1 • UC-enabled headsets will be a major growth catalyst in the office and contact center headset market. • Is intelligibility of calls an issue?
There may be a variety of stakeholders involved in the purchase decision at a contact center: Representatives from Operations, IT and Purchasing are typically involved. It is also important to ensure the needs of both agents and supervisors are met. Agents are concerned with sound quality and comfort, while supervisors are also focused on reliability.
