Factsheet Getting connected... Some tips for setting up your digital TV equipment 1 Unplug your TV from the electricity supply. Do not switch on electricity supply until you have connected all your equipment together. 2 Take time to identify the various cables, plugs and sockets that you will use when you install your equipment. 3 Take a look at the diagram on the following page to see how to get connected. 4 Once connected, switch on all the equipment and tune in the new digital channels using the instructions that come with your equipment. Connect TV+Satellite Box 1 Connect to satellite dish 2 Satellite box 1 Using an HDMI cable connect from the port shown on TV to the port shown on satellite box. 2 Using a satellite cable connect from the port shown on the satellite box to the satellite dish.
