Connecting a Laptop Computer 1. Using the PC DVI cable that came with your system, connect it to DVI in on the codec. 2. On the computer, plug the cable into the VGA monitor out port. 3. To choose the computer on the codec: using the remote, press the blue “presentation” button. The codec should default to the computer. 4. If you receive the message, “PC not connected” then you need to toggle your computer to show on the codec. How you do this varied among manufacturers and models, but usually involves both the “function” key and an “F” key, such as F4 or F8.
