How to Connect a Multimedia Projector to a Computer 1. Turn off the computer and the projector. 2. Connect the projector power cord to the projector. 3. Connect one end of the RGB Signal Cable to the projector’s RGB or computer input. 4. Remove the monitor cable from the computer. 1 © D. Rich, 2004 5. Connect other end of RGB Signal Cable to the computer’s monitor output. 6. Take the monitor cable and plug it into the projector’s RBG or monitor output. 7. The finished setup should look like this: 8. Turn on the projector’s power switch. 0 = off 1 = on 2 © D. Rich, 2004 9. Turn on the computer first, then the projector, using the power button on the top of the projector. 10. Set zoom. 11. Focus. 12. When finished, turn off the projector using the power button on top. Do not unplug the projector or shut off the power switch until the fan has stopped running. This will help to preserve the life of the bulb. 3 © D. Rich, 2004
