Installation of the board 4.1.2. LAN without DHCP server: 3.1. Fixing and connection. Us the fix, factory default IP address to connect to the panel. For this the computer with the browser must be ont he same internal network as the module. (192.168.254.1) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Fix the panel by the four fixing holes Connect the in and output wires. Connect Ethernet and Serial cable Check wires. Connect Power. Program the panel. 1. Connect the computer directly or through Local Area Network (LAN) (direcctly connection with crosslink cable) 2. Open an internet browser like Mozzilla Firefox or Internet Exprorer. Type into the browser field the IP address and port (192.168.254.254:8080) 3. 4. Configuring and checking the panel The panel has a built in web server, so it could be programmed by a standard web browser like Firefox or IE, there is no separate programming software. Remote access could be done through built in web server. 4. If connection is successfull than you will see the following entry page. To enter, clock „Login” 5. Type the factory default User name and Password 4.1. First connection to the panel: 4.1.1. LAN with DHCP server: The panel will search for DHCP server, if its not found, the panel will use the factory pre-set IP address. If the network is DHCP enabled CEC will obtain IP address and network settings. The IP address of CEC could be seen in a status window of the designated router of the network. User Name: Password: Admin admin Exapmle: 6. Page 4 After successull entry you will see the Status window : www.skylaboratories.com DEC Installation and programming reference 4.2. Programming: Change the factory setting by enter into Configure section. • IP address: This is the several IP. This aress is used for remote programming or remote controlling. Factory default: 192.168.254.253 • Netmask: It is for to be able to distinguish between IP address and identification parts for IP packet receivers. Factory default: 255.255.255.0 • Gateway: This is a device which is in connection with more TCP/IP network. It is for routing and forwarding different IP packets between these networks. For example a router address within the network is designated to .gateway. Factory default: 0.0.0.0 • Nameserver: This is a name servert he server of the service provider. Write the provider server address into this field. ( A router could be also a name server) Factory default: 0.0.0.0 4.2.1. Network: This is the position where you may set network parameters. Next time you may connect the panel according to the parameters you type in. • DTMF ID: DEC module is capaple to receive Contact ID codes from external security control panel. Here you can determine what to dial to send security panel reports through DEC module. In case of dial attempt from the external device the numbers matching the numbers the security panel dials than DEC sends Handshake signal and ready to receive CID codes. If the dialled and the pre-programmed number is not matching DEC will re-route the dialling attempt to the connected available PSTN line. PSTN lines should be connected to LINE inputs and standard phonesets and external control panel must be connected to the Phone output of DEC module. Factory default: 456 • Administrator password: The entry password could be changed here, max 16 character long password could be used Factory default: admin Warning: - If you loose your new password only manufacturer can reset the factory default password. If you mistype the password , you have 3 consecutive tries only, than the panel will not respond to it anymore. - This could be re-setted by power on-off procedure. Warning: Choose telefon numbers does not interfere with other numbers dialled on the standard telco lines. . • Network Mode: Choosing the network connection: Fix IP address Dynamic IP address Factory default: DHCP Note: If you use dynamic IP, its still advised to use one fix IP in case if DHCP service would be not available. In this case the module will change to Fix IP address. Page 5 www.skylaboratories.com DEC Installation and programming reference 4.2.2. Connection: 4.2.4. Outputs: • #1 Server address: The IP address of the Monitoring Station. Please contact your Installer or Monitoring Station. Factory default: 0.0.0.0 • Output: Number of the output. • #1 Server Port number: This is the port number of the IP address. Please contact your Installer or Monitoring Station. Factory default: 8080 • #1 Modul ID: It is an unique ID number to be used for routing module datas. Factory default: 1 • Az „#2” –vel jelölt szer: Secondary server parameters. Setting similar as above. • Test sign interval: The module is in continous connection with the monitoring station, but sends test signals in periodical time. Factory default: 120 sec 4.2.3. Inputs • Input: Number of the input. Figyelmeztetés: To program an input please refer to point 1.2.! • Enabled: The thickbox is to be used to disable inputs are not used. Enable input: The disable input: Factory default: all „Disable” • Type: - Not used: If you do not need an output please select this one. This output can not be even activated remotely. - Communication Fail: If modul has disrupted communication this output will be activated. - Zone follower: It will be activated if the selected input is violated. You must consider the additional output settings for operation. - Server control: The server will control this output remotely. Factory default: all „Not used” • Mode: The timing of output operation is set here. - Monostabi: One state output. It will be activated and the time will follow the timing of the port than return to normal. - Inverse: This is an inverse operation. The output is always active than return to inactive for the duration of the pre-set output timing. - Bistable: This is a two state output. It will be switched to its on or off position according the trigger condition. The state of the output will remain in that particular state where its switched to. No timing on this kind of output. Factory default: all „Monostabile” • Timer: Steps of seconds as required to operate the output. Factory default: all „0” Note: Disabled input does not have to be closed by an EOL resistor. • Zone num.: If the output is a zone – input follower output select the particular output here. Factory default: all „Zone 1” • Point Num.: Alarms of the port will be transmitted and identified with this 3 digit number. Factory default: all „0” Note: The operation timing depends on output timing not the input alarm time. In case of Bi-Stable mode the output will follow timing of the selected input timing. • Alarm CID: This code is to be sent in case of Alarm of the particular zone. Factory default: all „0” 4.2.5. „Save changes” button All changes must be saved to change operating parameters of the module. • Restore CID: This code is to be sent in case of Restore of the particular zone. Factory default: all „0” Note: By pressing this button the module will be re-started. Note: In case of short circuiting input terminals both zone number belongs to this input will be sent as tamper alarm. Page 6 www.skylaboratories.com DEC Installation and programming reference 5.0.
