Protect Wiring Runs
The enclosure’s welded design and rugged cold-rolled steel construction ensure durability. Vertical support bars on the inside of the cabinet door provide added rigidity and a built-in door lock guards against tampering. Cable management troughs underneath each DIN rail streamline and protect wiring runs. A bracket for two 12V 7.0 AHr sealed rechargeable batteries is provided at the bottom of the enclosure for UPS support.
FRONT DOOR DISPLAY AND CONTROL MODULES
The front door of the enclosure contains removable sections into which the Continuum display and control modules can be mounted. These modules—the LB-8 LED Bar Module, LS-8 LED 3-Digit Module, LC-1 2-Line Display with optional VM-1 Voice Module, and the GA-40/80 Graphic Annunciator Panels—are secured directly into the back of the door with screws and connected to the I/O bus by a five-conductor cable assembly. The Continuum system simply treats these display modules as additional I/O modules. Up to nine display modules can be mounted on the door. Mix various combinations of display modules to meet your specific operator interface needs. Alternately, the enclosure can be ordered with only three tinted Plexiglas panels in the door. This option allows you to view the status lights of all internal modules when the enclosure door is closed.

LB-8 LED BAR MODULE
• 8 user-programmable LED ON/OFF indicators • 8 user-programmable push-button digital inputs The LB-8 LED Bar Module provides a cost-effective way to view and modify your facility operation with 8 programmable LED indicators, each with its own programmable companion push-button with audible feedback. The LB-8 is an excellent choice for basic equipment status indication, ON/OFF control, and override capability. Programming the LED indicators and push-buttons is done with Andover Controls Plain English® programming language. Labels above each LED and companion push-button allow you to customize each I/O point.
LS-8 LED 3-DIGIT DISPLAY MODULE
• 8 user-programmable, 3-digit, 7-segment LED displays with floating decimal point • 8 user-programmable up/down arrow push-button digital inputs The LS-8 LED 3-Digit Display Module combines eight 3-digit 7-segment LED displays with 8 companion up/down arrow pushbuttons. Use the LEDs to display building parameters such as temperature, airflow, humidity, or occupancy status. The up/down arrow push-buttons with audible feedback allow an operator to turn equipment on and off, change set points, air balance VAV boxes, adjust override time, arm and disarm a security system, etc. Programming the LED displays and up/down push buttons is done with Andover Controls Plain English® programming language. Labels above each LED and companion push-button allow you to customize each I/O point.
LC-1 2-LINE DISPLAY
• 16 character by 2 line LCD display with backlighting • 12-button programmable keypad • Optional VM-1 Voice Module • Similar functionality to Infinity Infistat Display Interface The LC-1 Display Module features a 16 character by 2 line LCD display with backlighting and a 12-button ergonomically designed programmable keypad—up/down left/right arrows for LCD cursor control, Enter and Cancel push-buttons, and 6 userprogrammable functions keys. With one touch of a finger, you can scroll through building parameters such as temperatures or pressures, view equipment status, change setpoints and schedules, turn equipment on and off, or air balance VAV boxes. The keys can also be programmed to perform a wide variety of functions, including switching a specific zone to occupied mode, signaling an alarm condition, adjusting the amount of override time, arming and disarming a security system, and enforcing password security. Programming the display and function keys is done with Andover Controls Plain English® programming language. A label window above the six functions keys is provided. The LC-1 interfaces to the optional VM-1 Voice Module.

VM-1 VOICE MODULE
• Voice record and playback • On-board speaker • Microphone input • Audio output jack The VM-1 Voice Module provides local voice annunciation for your Continuum system. Operators can record and store approximately 100 custom messages (2 minutes maximum total record time) for playback. Use the VM-1 to annunciate alarm messages, provide audible instructions for critical applications, or broadcast messages over the building’s public address system via a built-in audio pre-amp level output signal. Pre-recorded messages can also be played back as a result of an event occurrence using a Plain English language program resident in the Continuum NetController. The VM-1 interfaces to the LC-1Display Module and mounts adjacent to it in the Continuum enclosure front door. Record/ playback control is provided via the LC-1 keypad/LCD display. The VM-1 features an on-board speaker with volume control, 1/8” jack microphone input, and a pre-amp level output and a built-in transitor for ON/OFF control of the PA channel during message playback.
GA-40/80 GRAPHIC ANNUNCIA TOR P ANEL ANNUNCIATOR PANEL
• Door-mounted “mimic panel” • Graphically represents 40 or 80 I/O points • Built-in interface to Continuum DM-20 modules • Pre-terminated LEDS and control switches provided • Optional firefighter controls for smoke management applications The Continuum GA-40/80 Graphic Annunciator Panel provides a convenient graphic representation of your building’s mechanical systems, ventilation systems, smoke control sequences, or other “mimic” panel applications. The GA-40/80 includes a backplate with holes for 40/80 status LEDs and control switches and mounts directly inside the door of the Continuum enclosure—you attach a graphic with predefined holes to the front of the door. LEDS are available in three color choices (red, yellow, green) and control switches are available in two lengths (0.5” and 1.0”) and two styles (flat blade and round). Connectors for both the LEDS and switches are provided and attach directly to the built-in terminal blocks for interface to one or more Continuum DM-20 I/O modules mounted on the enclosures’s DIN rail. The GA-40/80 accepts 24VDC from the DM-20 via a three-position cable assembly and converts it to 5VDC. Each DM-20 can provide power for up to 20 inputs or outputs. The Graphic Annunciator Panel can be configured to meet applicable fire department regulations and includes the required firefighter key switches, push-buttons, and annunciator. A GA-80 model, which supports up to 80 I/O points, is also available.
