Plug the unit to electrical outlet. ON/OFF Switch Turn power switch to “ON”. The ON/OFF switch controls the heater’s operation. Thermostat Dial The thermostat dial allows you to set your desired temperature level. The thermostat monitors the room’s temperature and continuously adjusts the heat output to maintain your selected comfort level. The element is only powered for as long as necessary to restore the selected temperature, ensuring maximum efficiency. Turn CW to raise temperature, CCW to lower temperature. Turn the switch/thermostat clockwise to the desired position. In its minimum setting (fully counter-clockwise) position, in this position (depending on the size of the room) the heater will maintain the temperature above freezing. This appliance must be earthed. Use only the proper type outlet when plugging in the appliance; do not attempt to override the earth wire feature. Setting the Timer To use the heater in timed mode, it should be permanently connected to the mains supply. If the power is disconnected, the clock will stop. To operate the heater in timed mode, the three position switch within the dial should be in the center position, If it is in the “-” position, the heater will be permanently ON, if it is in the “O” position, the heater will be permanently OFF. The timer is in 24-hour format. The timer is controlled by the plastic segments-each segment represents 15 minutes. Pull the segment out to turn the heater “ON” for that period of time, push in for “OFF”. Setting the Time The current day and time is set by rotating the timer dial clockwise until the correct day and time is indicated opposite the datum mark. Cleaning the Heater Always un-plug the heater from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.
