concept with advanced electronics to meet the stringent dimming requirements for motorized shutters. Corona can be remote controlled from a standard lighting control desk with either a DMX512 or analogue 0-10V signals, or directly from the output of a dimmer with the Dimmer Ballast module. Corona allows the lighting designer to achieve remote control of light intensity without affecting light color temperature which is very useful in film, TV, and photographic studios.

Construction Enclosure frame: Lightweight welded black aluminum structure. Shutters: rigidly formed sheet steel with non-reflective Hi-Temp paint. Electronic Control Box: Separate removable module, facilitating remote installation (Option).
Power supply input The Corona units can be powered either from 240/110VAC mains (via internal switch mode power supply) or through the 4 pin XLR connector on the unit which carries both the DMX data signal and + 48VDC power supply. The Corona incorporates a DC/DC converter, which generates the power, required to drive the motors and electronics.
Command and control input The Corona can be controlled by either DMX-512 signal (5 pins XLR) or via 0 to 10v analog voltage (3 pins XLR). The selection is done via an integral Dipswitch. The 3 pins XLR analog connector provides a supply voltage for external fader or dimmer ballast.
