Before starting the installation, make sure all electricity has been turned off and electrical breaker has been locked out and tagged out. 2. To ensure the success of the installation, be sure to read these instructions and review the diagrams thoroughly before beginning. FIG-1 3. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electrical Code. NOTE: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. INSTALLATION: 1) Remove mounting bracket(s) from fixture. 2) Secure mounting bracket(s) to surface using screws (FIG-1). 3) A ttach fixture to the mounting brackets in the desired position (FIG-1). Grooves on side of fixture clip into mounting bracket and allow you to set desired light direction. Repeat steps 1-3 for mounting multiple fixtures. Fixtures connect end-to-end. (FIG-2) Terminator Cap Terminator Cap NOTE: Starter Cable (SC6) and Terminator Cap (TCAP) are required for every run. (Fig-2) FIG-2 4) Use Extension Cable when necessary, for corners and extending fixture run. (Fig-3) Starter Cable Starter Cable IMPORTANT: DO NOT exceed product’s Maximum Run Length. (FIG-4) Use the list below as a reference: • eCoveline (ECVL) - 120 ft • Coveline (CVL) - 60 ft • eCoveline XL (ECVLX) - 80 ft • Coveline XL (CVLX) - 60 ft CAUTION: Before connecting the fixture(s) to power make sure power is off. NOTE: DO NOT connect power until fixtures are properly mounted, connected and wired. Refer to specific manufacturer for wiring and operation information. NOTE: For Dimmer, check Watt limitation and current leakage restriction. Adjustable Bracket NOTE: The important safeguards and instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. 9/64 Hex head screw for light angle adjustment INSTALLATION: 1) The Adjustable Bracket (ADB) for the CoveLine is tightened on the fixture for shipment. IMPORTANT: P rior to fastening the Mounting Bracket to any surface, check the Adjustable Bracket Hex Screw position to allow for optimal degree of rotation. (Fig.1) Fig. 2 Change Hex Screw position to change degree of rotation Position A: 60° CCW rotation 30° CW rotation Current Position B: 30° CCW rotation 60° CW rotation A B 60° 30° Fig. 1 NOTE: The Adjustable Bracket allows for 60° rotation in one direction and 30° rotation in the other, depending upon the Hex Screw position. To change the degree of rotation from side to side, move both Hex Screws to the alternate position. (Fig. 2) 2) Fasten Mounting Bracket Base to surface using appropriate screws per local codes. 3) Once the Mounting Bracket is properly secured to the surface, you may need to adjust the light pattern direction. Loosen the two (8/32) Hex Head screws on each side of the bracket using a 9/64 allen wrench. (Fig. 3) 4) A djust the light direction by rotating the fixture angle to your preference. Then retighten the (2) Hex Head Screws to hold the fixture in place. IMPORTANT: D  O NOT exceed CoveLine’s Maximum Run Length.
