what you need:
-ruler or measuring tape -scissors
once you have finished weaving the cord through the chains, braid the strands of both ends until you have about 2” tails left
what might come in handy:
-safety pins -tape
when the cord crosses don’t match up anymore because the chains are different lengths, you’ll need to weave both ends through one link to get them aligned again, then continue as before. do this as many times as needed to keep the cord crosses looking even
-craft glue
on blunt sewing needle. Adult supervision is always recommended while child is playing.

tie 2 strands on each end in a double knot around the third strand, and add a drop of glue to secure them before trimming only those strands
