Press Release 24th March 2014 CREAT3D adds Leapfrog 3D printers to product range. Leapfrog Creatr, Leapfrog Creatr XL and Leapfrog Xeed added to CREAT3D’s varied product line-up. CREAT3D Ltd (www.desktop3dprinter.com), the independent specialist retailer of desktop 3D printers and 3D scanners is pleased to announce the extension to their product range with Leapfrog 3D printers. Leapfrog, a Dutch manufacturer founded in 2012, was founded through a need to produce an easy-to-use, sturdy and versatile printer to produce prototypes and spare parts, discovered whilst working with AV Flexologic, a Dutch manufacturer of machines for the flexographic industry. Leapfrog 3D Printers aims to make high tech 3D printing techniques and materials easy to use and affordable for a broad user base. “We are thrilled to be adding the Leapfrog range of 3D printers to our existing line-up. Leapfrog is a dynamic company, focused on creating good quality, sturdy printers based around advanced printing capabilities. The dual-head with it’s ability to print in dissolvable PVA support material provides our customers with the facility to produce much more detailed and complex parts”, Simon Chandler, Managing Director. CREAT3D are adding three new printers to their existing product line-up: the Creatr, Creatr XL and Xeed. The Leapfrog Creatr a dual-head desktop 3D printer, capable of printing with dissolvable PVA support and in a range of materials including PLA, ABS, Laybrick & Nylon. Priced at £1,680 incl. VAT it represents excellent value for a dual-head desktop 3D printer. The Leapfrog Creatr XL is an extension to the Creatr family, but with increased build volume. Based on the Creatr, but three times the size, the Creatr XL has an extra-large build capacity of 230mm x 270mm x 600mm. It also comes with a more advanced software package and can print at a 50 micron layer height. Finally, the Leapfrog Xeed is a wireless dual-head 3D printer with a large footprint. It has a tablet interface so no separate software is required. Its large footprint allows for a large build size and it can use PLA and PVA plastics. The Leapfrog Xeed is ideally suited for businesses. Full details of the Leapfrog range of 3D printers is available online at www.desktop3dprinter.com The Creatr is available to order now, with the Creatr XL and Xeed on 4-6 week lead time. ------------ Ends ----------CREAT3D Ltd.
