INTRODUCTION – TURNING THE SYSTEM ON
When you first enter the classroom, the Crestron touch panel will either be black or have the image below:
If it is black, touch the screen and the above image will appear. Touch the screen again and the system will turn on and the equipment power up. The Main page will appear.
The Main page enables you to select the equipment you wish to use, access the speech and program source volume control and exit. Please wait about ten seconds before selecting any sources to allow the system to perform the start procedure. Touch the icon of the device you will use and the page for that device will appear. 1
DVD PLAYER CONTROLS
The DVD player is the only piece of equipment that has to be turned on manually. Power on the DVD player by pressing the power switch on the front of the player. Touch the icon and the following page will appear:
The DVD player doubles as the CD player. Select DVD and the DVD page will appear:
The DVD control page gives full control of the DVD player

When using the CD option, the screen does not lower.
The CD page gives you complete control of the DVD player for exclusive CD play back. As an option, the projector can be powered on and the screen lowered to see the CD track selections. 3 Oct -18- 2010- Rv

DOCUMENT CAMERA CONTROLS
The document camera (aka visual presenter) is located in the furniture side drawer. To use the document camera, raise camera head arm, next rotate the camera head until it clicks, then raise lamp arm. Power ON the document camera. On the main page, touch the appear:

Use the zoom buttons to move closer to or farther from your presentation. Use the focus or auto focus buttons to adjust any soft projected images. Hold down button to activate control.

-enhances image for text only documents -converts projected image to a negative image -removes color from image and projects image in black & white -rotates projected image 180 degrees -sharpens soft or jagged edges - Secure Digital card - Used with the SD card to display images.
-stores images (onto connected SD card or hard drive) When finished, power OFF document camera. Lower lamp arm, rotate camera head backward, then lower camera head arm. Close drawer carefully. If it doesn’t close, check to make sure all arms and the camera head are flush with the base.
