CS-1960 RF Distribution Unit
The CS-1960 is a versatile RF distribution unit. The CS-1960 RF Distribution Unit provides for 0.5 - 18 GHz RF signal routing and distribution for up to four separate sources (antennas). Up to six independent, full fanout, outputs are available that can select from one of the four input sources. Path selection is achieved with fast switching, high isolation, pin diode switches. Internal RF amplifiers with low noise figure and high third order intercept point are used to achieve excellent RF performance for all outputs.
The CS-1960 also provides RF blanking for all outputs via a TTL control input signal. Optional RF sample outputs are also available for ease of implementation into existing systems. This unit is designed for use in a variety of fixed, mobile, shipboard and airborne platforms. The CS-1960 is contained in a half-width, two-unit-high rack-mount package that uses forced air cooling for high operational reliability. The AC power input accepts 90 260 VAC, 47 - 440 Hz.
All RF distribution functions are controlled via the CS-1960’s Ethernet interface. The CS-1960 also contains BITE circuitry to advise of power supply and operating temperature data.
