EZ SERIES - STANDARD RANGE OF SINGLE SHAFT SHREDDERS EZ 50 - EZ 150 The EZ series is largely invulnerable to metal components, nails or clips. Operating reliability is ensured by a series of innovative induvidual features, e.g. a pendulum-type pressurizing mechanism which effectively prevents the shredded material from clogging and permits processing of large parts. Machines are easy to maintain and repair; Both the shaft/rotor and cutting blades are equipped with disposable and reversable cutting inserts. Operating Description: Bulk material is automatically drawn into the shredder by the rotary motion of the shaft, acting in conjunction with a hydraulic force feeding mechanism. A screen located below the rotor shaft determines the fragment size. Various screen sizes are available. The drive system and shredding mechanism are electronically monitored and protected against overload. The shredding mechanism runs at slow speed and is very quiet.
* The rotor consists of a non-deformable solid steel cylinder. * The disposable cutting inserts are distributed in a spiral pattern around the circumference of the rotor and are easily replaces. * Two counter-cutters, made of tempered steel and equipped with disposable cutting inserts are mounted on each side of the shaft. * Precision cutting ensures uniformity of the shredded material and long life for the cutters.
