APPLYING POWER CONNECT 12 TO 24 VOLTS AC OR DC TO TERMINALS MARKED “POWER”. WHEN DC POWER IS APPLIED IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO OBSERVE POLARITY. REMOVE INSULATOR FROM THE LITHIUM BATTERY HOLDER IN ORDER TO PLACE THE BATTERY IN SERVICE. REPLACE WITH RAY-O-VAC BR2325 OR EQUAL. THE DISPLAY WILL INDICATE THE WORD “OFF” AND “00:00”. SETTING THE TIME OF DAY 1. 2. 3. 4. PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE “CLOCK” BUTTON. PRESS THE “HOUR”, (H+) BUTTON TO SET THE CORRECT HOUR. PRESS THE “MINUTE”, (M+) BUTTON TO SET THE CORRECT MINUTE. PRESS THE “DAY” BUTTON TO SET THE CORRECT DAY OF THE WEEK. WHEN THE CORRECT SETTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE RELEASE THE “CLOCK” BUTTON. THE COLON WILL FLASH TO INDICATE THAT THE CLOCK IS RUNNING. NOTE: IF THE H+ OR THE M+ BUTTONS ARE HELD DOWN FOR MORE THAN ONE SECOND THE DISPLAY WILL ADVANCE AUTOMATICALLY. PROGRAMMING THE RELAY “ON” AND “OFF” TIMES THE T-7P TIMER HAS SIX “ON” AND SIX “OFF” TIMERS WHICH CAN BE PROGRAMMED FOR A TOTAL OF 42 EVENTS. 1. PRESS THE “TIMER” BUTTON TO ENTER THE PROGRAM MODE. TIMER 1 “ON” WILL BE DISPLAYED. SET THE RELAY ‘ON” TIME WITH THE H+ AND M+ BUTTONS. 2. PRESS THE “TIMER” BUTTON AGAIN TO ENTER THE RELAY “OFF” TIME MODE. SET THE RELAY “OFF” TIME WITH THE H+ AND M+ BUTTONS. IF THE OUTPUT RELAY IS SET FOR MOMENTARY OPERATION THE “OFF” TIME SETTING HAS NO EFFECT. THE “OFF” TIME MUST BE ONE MINUTE MORE THAN THE “ON” TIME. EG., “ON” TIME 10:00 “OFF” TIME 10:01. 3. PRESS THE “DAY” BUTTON TO SELECT THE DAY OF THE WEEK THE RELAY IS TO OPERATE. IF A DAY IS NOT SELECTED THE RELAY WILL OPERATE EVERY DAY. CONTINUE PROGRAMMING AS MANY OF THE SIX TIMERS AS REQUIRED. 4. AFTER PROGRAMMING IS COMPLETED PRESS THE “CLOCK” BUTTON TO EXIT THE PROGRAM MODE. BLOCK PROGRAMMING IN ADDITION TO INDIVIDUAL DAYS OF THE WEEK THE TIMER CAN BE PROGRAMMED IN BLOCKS OF DAYS AS FOLLOWS: 1. MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, 2. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 3. MONDAY THRU SATURDAY. THE “DAY” BUTTON IS USED TO SELECT THE REQUIRED BLOCKS OF DAYS. TO REVIEW OR CHANGE THE PROGRAM CONSECUTIVELY PRESSING THE “TIMER” BUTTON WILL DISPLAY THE PROGRAMS. THE PROGRAMS CAN BE CHANGED BY WRITING OVER THE EXISTING PROGRAMS. TO CANCEL A PROGRAM 1. PRESS THE “TIMER” BUTTON TO DISPLAY THE PROGRAM TO BE CANCELED. 2. PRESS THE H+ AND M+ BUTTONS TO SET THE HOURS AND MINUTES TO -- : -- . 3. PRESS THE “CLOCK” BUTTON TO EXIT THE PROGRAM MODE. MANUAL SWITCH USE THE MANUAL OVERIDE SWITCH, “HAND” SYMBOL, TO TURN THE RELAY “ON” AND “OFF”. THE SWITCH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE “OFF” POSITION FOR NORMAL OPERATION OF THE TIMER. USE OF THE MANUAL SWITCH DOES NOT EFFECT THE PROGRAM. RELAY MODE SWITCH THE RELAY MODE SWITCH IS USED TO SELECT EITHER LATCHING OF MOMENTARY RELAY OPERATION. RELAY “ON” TIME ADJUSTMENT THE RELAY “ON” TIME POTENTIOMETER CONTROLS THE RELAY OPERATE TIME ONLY WHEN THE RELAY MODE SWITCH IS IN THE MOMENTARY POSITION. RELAY “ON” TIME IS ADJUSTABLE FROM ONE SECOND TO THREE MINUTES. RELAY CONTACTS WHEN TRIP TIME OCCURS THE NORMALLY-OPEN CONTACTS CLOSE AND THE NORMALLY-CLOSED CONTACTS OPEN.
