CENTRALIZED SECURE STORAGE AND FILE SHARING A networked centralized storage solution enables secure AES-256bit encryption file sharing to multiple client computers over the netweork, regardless of the operating system. The CX-5000-NAS securely shares files across Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix via SMB/CIFS,NFS and AFP protocols. An easy to use web-based user interface manages user accounts and shared folders that can be retrieved from a Windows AD and LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory service reducing setup time. Shared folder aggreation groups share folders of other servers into a “portal folder” on the NAS without ogging into multiple servers and with centralized log monitoring remote servers can store system logs on the NAS.
