The EA800-ip does not work like an IP camera. It works in the same way that a PC does with the device being a client – not the host. The host is the Winland remote server. The EA800-ip will only connect to this server. It is not possible to connect to an internal server at this time. Consult your network administrator. Enabled (default) - Network settings are automatically assigned by a router or DHCP server. - Diagnostics: This will ping the host and will refresh every 10 seconds; remain on this screen for at least 30 seconds. A successful ping will fill in the time and the host IP address. It should also give you a ping time in milliseconds. If you don’t see the time or the host IP address, the device is not reaching the host through your network. To insure proper operation, test weekly. - Client Mode: Disabled Cloud (default) Local (not yet developed) DHCP: Disabled - Enter network settings manually. Consult your network administrator.
