Surfaces should be free of old gasket material. Exhaust deflector must be oriented toward front of tool. Bumper should snap into place. Angled side of driver blade faces toward the back of the tool. Place eyelet in the spring down through the slot before pushing into place. Angled end faces rear of magazine. With the nail liner removed, engage the small tang on the pusher with the eyelet in the spring. Depth adjustment must be set to up position. The tab on the adjuster mechanism (ITEM 36) should be above the lower pin to allow the adjuster to move freely up and down. LUBRICATION: Apply thin film of DEWALT approved grease to all o-rings prior to assembly.
